Favourite Episodes -
Bad Wolf, The Parting of the Ways, Utopia, The Sound of Drums, Silence in the Library, Forest of the Dead, The Stolen Earth, The Eleventh Hour, Amy's Choice (other than the ending), Vincent and the Doctor, The Pandorica Opens, The Big Bang, A Christmas Carol, The Impossible Astronaut, Day of the Moon, The Doctor's Wife, A Good Man Goes to War, The God Complex, Asylum of the Daleks.

Good -
The Empty Child, The Doctor Dances, The Christmas Invasion, Human Nature, The Family of Blood, Midnight, Turn Left, The Waters of Mars, The Beast Below, The Time of Angels, Let's Kill Hitler, The Girl Who Waited, Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, A Town Called Mercy, The Power of Three, The Angels Take Manhattan.

Poor -
Aliens of London/World War Three - Even for Doctor Who just returning this was children's TV at its worst.
Every RTD Christmas Special after The Christmas Invasion - Just bad IMO and just never captured the spirit of christmas like TCO or ACC did.
Love and Monsters/Fear Her - Think this is the general consensus among the DW fandom.
Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks - Just a really big WTF moment.
Last of the Time Lords - Fine until the ridiculous ending.
Journey's End - RTD really has a problem with endings IMO. Just too big, over-the-top and cheesy.
The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood - Really didn't care about either of these episodes.
Closing Time - I think this is more of the placement of the episode more than anything, too predictable, too sappy. Shouldn't have been the episode before the finale, it stopped the pace of everything.
The Wedding of River Song - The only time I genuinely felt like Moffat was jerking the fans around and genuinely had no plan as to where the series arc was heading. Nothing was resolved, still loads of loose ends even to this day. The plot just felt like it was plucked from thin air. The only Moffat episode I really dislike.

The rest I'm not fussed with. I do however feel that on the whole Moffat's tenure has delivered better episodes.

I'd say Boom Town is underrated.

As silly as the Slitheen were written with their farting, this was a little gem.

The woman playing Margaret put in a great performance and her scenes with Eccleston from being captured in the Tardis, guilt tripping them, the restaurant, then her death were great.

I agree with this totally.

Margaret was a fascinating character. And even through her supposed deception, I like to think that when she was totally powerless in that restaurant, that her plea was deep down genuine somewhere along the line... that she faced the element of guilt she is able to hide behind when playing the villain. RIP Blon Fel-Fotch Passameer-Day Slitheen...sort of

It (The Snowmen) is really boring on repeat viewings. Infact all of moffats Christmas specials are not particularly thrilling when you watch them again.

My favourite episodes are:

Gridlock, Tooth and Claw, The Unquiet Dead, Turn Left, 42, Midnight, Vincent and the Doctor and The Doctor's Wife.

My least favourite are Blink, Love and Monsters, The Long Game, The Wedding of River Song.

Find it harsh to pick least fave but i do find Blink very overrated, much preferred the three episodes after with the Angels in...never connected with the story really. Of course series 2 boasted a LOAD of episodes i have only seen once and never again (Idiots Lantern, New Earth, Love & Monsters, Fear Her...even the finale lost its novelty for me as time went on really) So yeah

My very favourites:

- Vincent and the Doctor - the most beautiful Doctor Who story of them all
- The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang - somehow manages to be both epic and intimate at the same time
- Midnight - nail biting stuff
- The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances - the first out and out classic of post 2005 Doctor Who
- Human Nature/The Family of Blood - best villains and best adapted script.

My very least favourites:

- The Idiots Lantern - I find the resolution to the abusive husband/father sub plot morally repugnant.
- Fear Her - an absolute mess
- The Long Game - seems to exist solely to set up the finale, features the worst character in Doctor Who history far to prominently.

Under-reated:
Gridlock, A Christmas Carol, The God Complex - all stories I appreciated more on repeated viewing.

Over-rated:
Blink - nothing can live up to the hype that surrounds it
The Girl in the Fireplace - beautiful to look at but lives me cold as ice

Thats what i loved about it as a finale...i think its the best finale to date (not including good man goes to war, angels take manhattan as they are mid series finales) in that it played to the 4 lead characters acoss both episodes...many twisted occured, we had so many monsters but it payed tribute to our leads so well and it was so damn powerful!

MY RTD/MOFFAT RATINGS... just for funsies

RTD gets 4 episodes in my top 20, including the top two spots. Steven Moffat gets 6 of my top 20.

Moffat gets 4 episodes in my bottom 20, including the lowest allocation. RTD gets 6 episodes of my bottom 20. (By comparison, Chris Chibnall also fared badly, with 4 of his 5 episodes being in my lowest 10).

Those stats sound pretty even, so I shall go on loving both showrunners as per the norm, and getting ridiculously and overly frustrated on the occasions they produce an episode that isn't quite to my liking

Way too many favourite episodes to name really, same goes for average episodes, nothing wrong with being an average episode either, sometimes they are better to watch than favourite episodes….makes no sense but I know what I mean.

I wouldn’t even class what I think are below average episodes or episodes that I’m not that fussed on as being out and out bad. For me there have only been a few out and out stinkers with no or little redeeming features. Its bound to happen so many episodes, 7 series.

The stinkers.

Fear Her
The Idiots Lantern
Planet Of The Dead

The above are the only episodes I skip when having a series box set session.

I don’t own series 5/6/7a on disc so could probably name a few more but the main ones.

A Good Man Goes To War
Let's Kill Hitler
The Wedding Of River Song
The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe

Underrated

42
Gridlock
Boomtown
The Lodger
