A fantastic way to kick off the first half of the show and the umplugged section in general. There was a great raw quality to that performance and one which allowed you to pour all your emotion into it. You got a bit of criticism last week about being directionless and being lost in this competition. I think that performance should silence the naysayers and put you back on the map in the competition. You're a unique act and finding song choices for you sometimes difficult dependent on the theme. For unplugged though we both knew which direction to take and you totally nailed it tonight. A fabulous performance and a brilliant way to start the quarter finals!

Now I absolutely adore Bat For Lashes as she is a brilliant artist but this song I feel is more suited to Sophie Habibis rather than you Kitty. It was an average performance because your vocals do have a lot more of an edge to them than this song but you’re also very quirky like Bat For Lashes so I do see where your mentor was going with this one but I think the execution with your vocals could’ve been done better than this. Overall an average performance but you’ve done better in previous weeks so you should have no problem going through.

Kitty well done for opening the show. I understand that with the theme, it would be quite a huge challenge to see the old kitty back, but based on this performance, this was a very good choice from you and your mentor. It wasn't as strong as I've seen from you in this competition, but it showed your emotions that we're used to seeing and I think it has got you off in the right path for tonight.

Kitty, I thought that was a okay song choice, style wise. I would've wanted a bit more attack on the notes, more power, and a bit more range on display would've been lovely, that would've made it a great performance. Nevertheless, well done on opening the show and I hope you do better in your next performance

Last week you had one of your best shows and you gained immunity, this week we've got a completely different set of themes and this theme should enable you to showcase you vocals a lot more. For me I found the performance a little held back and little bit flat, it felt as though it stayed on one level throughout and whilst your vocals were good it never really built up to a wow moment for me. It was ok, but for a quarter final performance and after last week I was kind of expecting a lot more from.

Look your mentor seems to use cover artists on youtube and give them to you all the time a long with Drew and seems to think they work when to be honest they really do not. This singer is way to mature for you Christina and the song doesn’t work with you on any level as you really do have more of a rocker chick edge rather than this singer who has the voice of a generic pop voice which is no way similar to yours at all. Not a good performance Christina.

Christina my girl. You are my rock chick, but finding an unplugged song for you was gonna be a challenge as you're not used to quiet songs. However, this was a fantastic choice I found and I knew this was the one for you. I admit that it wasn't as powerful as your outstanding performance on the last show, but on the next song we have, you are gonna come back and rock it out!

Your performance last week made me start believing you could be a contender. This week, I don't know what happened. Must be the theme. I think you've enough ballads for now. I don't want you to becoming a pop ballad singer. I'd love to see you rock a pop-rock number later on tonight. Thank God there's a second performance because based on that, I'd be worried for you tonight

Emotionally this was a really good performance from you Stacy and really allowed you show off more of your powerful vocals than you have done in the past and just overall allows you to really give off a really good performance. Rihanna is an RnB artist whilst you’re a gospel artist so this was quite a surprise and the song worked well for you Stacy! Good performance although the vocals were too soulful at times.

Stacy in singing something from this century shocker! This song was actually used in the first series (IIRC), however I thought that was probably the best performance you've given on the show. I think last show you were bloody lucky not to go into the bottom 3 as the song choice for you was a little . However I like the fact that we got to hear the tone of your voice come across and the amount of emotion that you give over in the lyrics. I think Tom has done a good job with this song choice and its a big step in the right direction for you, so well done. My one criticism is that this song is so mainstream and commercial that it can easily be construed to be just a karaoke version instead of you putting your own spin on it.

Stacy, I like the choice your mentor went with but I'm going to have to be honest and say that I wasn't feeling the performance nor the way you sung it tonight. Your voice is very gospel as we have said a few times before, but this was an RnB song and I felt that the combo did not mix well with you. I hope your second performance is a lot better than this, cause I'd be worried for you.

I slightly disagree with Jack, because I knew your voice would sound great on an RnB record.. and who should put you in a box? I find your voice to suiting Rnb, gospel and soul and I think that song choice suited you well tonight and you connected well with it too. Great performance
