I hope so too, although some of this negativity is starting to creep into the gutter press as well now...

We've had four episodes of Clara and she just works as a character. She's a natural fit for the show and the 11th Doctor.

Usual story. When a new companion is announced, and the first promo or filming pics are released, they're all over the new face, how amazing she's going to be, how excited they are to be on the show. Within two weeks of their first episode they're criticising everything they can get their hands on - she's too chavvy, she's too shouty, she's too clever, she's too sexy.
