I think most would agree.
And since whoever is
seemingly wants him to go to Trenzalore it's not the Silence who obviously don't want him there.
So basically the Doctor is stuck between a Rock and a Hardplace. Something is forcing him to Trenzalore while the Silence are doing everything they can to keep him away.

From the message given to the Doctor it seems that the fields of trenzalore are somewhere it is impossible to lie.
Hence my guess would be the Great Intelligence lures the Doctor there with the kidnap of his friends in order to trap him and make him reveal the secrets he spoke about this week. The Doctor doesn't want to but it's impossible for him to lie on Trenzalore.
