As I'd said previously working fine here, checked version & it's 1.02.29 Surely this must be a problem with the users receiver!

I have just checked on my HD Fox T2 (v1.02.28) connected directly to my BT router and the iPlayer works ok.

A few straw-clutches:

Can you check with connection directly into your router and not via the Homeplugs?

Perhaps the connection checks internet speed and yours is a bit down at the moment.

You could downgrade your software to v28 to see if any glitches have got into your software. You can then upgrade later. Means a retune though.

Thanks for the offer ... but I don't have a car.

I would if I could. The router is downstairs in the front room, while the Humax box is upstairs here in the back room.

Well, all my other devices can go online fine. Streaming from BBC iPlayer and/or Netflix on my Xbox is near flawless.
It'll have to wait until later, as I'm having my broadband switched over from O2 Broadband to Plusnet FTTC today.

I think that'll be the next option.

I have the same setup (HD FoxT2 plus Homeplugs) working fine. However, I have had a glitch in the past where, although it said the network was connected, it needed reconfiguring by DHCP before the portal would load. Only happened once and been OK for months since. Grasping straws, but you never know....

Thanks, but that would also mean having to reconfigure the network back to DHCP and taking our website offline.

Bob, I'm sure the OP is very happy that yours is working fine. But what use to him is it for you to keep carping on about it?

My motto "If you've nothing of use to say, then keep quiet."

My point is if the majority don't have problems then it must be his machine setup.

As for carping on the last I heard we still are in a relatively free speech society

He knows he has a problem - that's why he's on here trying to find a solution.Have your comments helped him at all? No.

At one point he didn't seem decided where the problem is,my comment would I hope lead him closer to his receiver & not a general problem, next time I'll ask your permission but don't hold your breath!
