I guess it didn't help they pretty much ruined Racqui at the end either. Rhys gave Jacqui a new lease of life from the off and I guess it's not the kind of magic you can replicate.”

I actually feel its unfinished too to be honest. It didn't feel final or properly explored to me I think there is a fear a character will stagnate and it's a difficult call really but I do think there are always more stories. I think with jacqui, yes he Rhys thing did breathe new life into her and hen her stories became dull but that's soaps, your character will always have a lull at times before he next big SL comes along. Like with ste, his character wasn't that great then he started hitting Amy - then he had a lull and then the brendan thing came along! There's so many characters in soaps that everyone has to take a backseat at some point and wait for the next big story.

I think that's the biggest loss more than anything. The cast they did leave were all top 10 characters at the very least of the entire show.

And you realise how weak other ones are when they've all gone.

It goes to show as well with the ratings drop unless it doesn't mean much. I think it's good they're pushing Paul forward but the Clare stuff wasn't enough of a hook to keep people optimistic about the shows future, but it's early days yet.

I just hope they see the potential in Kieron. It was interesting what he said about Emmett and what he's taught him because you can see that in his performance. Too many soap actors focus on getting their lines out and that's all, Kieron knows how to be natural and feel his character. He isn't the only one of course but I wish they'd focus on those characters above the likes of Will and Texas.

I wish Doug was getting a big story too, I know others won't agree but seeing as everyone else is going bad why can't he?

That's very true. And something that separates him from Will/Texas and others like them where the words are just said. He's one of the few remaining that you can see really thinks about what he's saying and the delivery of it.

Just re-read the keiron interview. I love that he's humble but would also like to see a bit more confidence in his own abilities. He's a real natural. Someone commented comparing early brendan brady to the Kray twins, that made me giggle. He actually is a little bit Reggie kray, we all know he should be in jail but we all want him released. He did bad things but only to bad people! :P

Exactly. He becomes his character in a way, whereas others don't give it as much thought.

Is flowerpicture from ff on here?! Love love The Proposal

That interview was almost like a love letter to Emmett, he adores him so much
! I think it was telling when he said how nervous he got when he had to act in front of loads of people (i think he said upto 30 sometimes ) and how Emmett helped him overcome his nerves! It also coincides with Emmett calling him a "gentle soul", i think he took on that protective role we adored soo much in Brendan! Gosh how i mss them

I loved jacqui and tony but after rhys they just didn't work anymore. I thought it an insult for her to be saying that she loved tony just months after rhys died. I know she found out he cheated etc but I don't think they allowed the fallout to play for nearly long enough after everyhing they went through.

Jacqui and Rhys (we'll ignore the cheating) were so much better than Jacqui and Tony. It totally made their characters so much more. I miss them.

BIB:HO interestingly hasn't got same level actors and actresses while have potential to find their right way, they seemed not able to do their best shot ...Same for storylines ,sometimes actors saved the story sometimes story saved actors ,they are so bad or so good, names are so big ,became popular ,things just are out of balance most of time!Weird ....

I think after Jacqui's rape SL they kind of ran out of ideas on where else they could take Jacqui and I kinda feel that will happen with Ste at some point.
