Not really a "huge" issue for hifi - but had you bought cable from this guy (and others) for doing an install in a house - then that would be a big issue - a sure safety hazard with high current supplies for things like electric cookers.
Try somewhere like CPC http://cpc.farnell.com/ next time.

I would be wary of buying fuses, circuit breakers etc from some eBay sellers - who knows what the tolerances on them will be.

They used to fit aluminium cable for house rewiring in the 70s as copper was too expensive.
