What Surround Sound??

Hi all iv been looking for a surround sound budget £470 ish

been looking at this setup.....

I would also look at systems featuring Yamaha and Onkyo amps. For example

Also consider choosing the amp and speakers separately. You might find you don't like the sound of a particular set of speakers but they might not be bundled with your preferred amp. Speaker quality is quite subjective so it pays to try a few out if you can.

That looks a pretty good deal. It has a decent number of HDMI inputs but with only 1 each of Optical and Coaxial inputs this could cause some problems depending on what you want to connect to it.

Pioneer, Denon, Onkyo and Yamaha are the only real brands in town at this (or any bar super-silly) sort of budget.

A little over budget at £537 but this package includes the excellent Monitor Audio Vector speaker package and cables.
