I'm pretty sure the semi finals for BGT are the week before.

BGT finals are first week of june.

Britains got talent is on ITV though, doesn't make a blind bit of difference.

No they're not. I got an email from Applause Store about tickets and they're from Monday 27th May - Saturday 1st June.

They'd be really dumb to hold the semi-finals week a week after half term. It was never going to happen.

A June 6th or 7th launch sound likely but the only thing is that the BGT final may be on the 8th this year so possibly the first or second highlights show could get practically no viewers. If its the first full day in the house then that's bad because Mr Frow will want people to see the changes he's made right? They can of course show it after the final has finished BB is a late night show anyway

Stephen Mohern(Sp) said on This Morning that the live finals of BGT are on Monday to Friday & the grand final is not on until following Saturday so I think we can safely say that BB launch will be a week later than its normally on.

They're putting the fith semi final on a Saturday as there will be no Wednesday show due to the football. The final would then be the following weekend on the 8th. I'd imagine that's better and fairer for the acts. ITV will also be able to create a big build up to it.
I'd expect better performences in the final than previous years.

No way! The first teaser trailer was almost a month before launch. The first teaser trailer was today! If last year is anything to go by then it may be the second week of June. They won't make it too late though as there's CBB afterwards, remember?

I thought that C5 had a deal to do two Celebrity series and one regular series untill 2014

You are joking about Celeb Hijack?

That's speculation. The contract between Endemol and 5 is just for so many years (currently until 2014) and the planning permission at Elstree is for so any weeks a year (22 live events, i.e. the launch, evictions and finals).

(Speculation from me) I think how the available live show dates are distributed between BB, CBB or special BBs is up to Endemol and 5 to decide each year.

The Voice is being moved to Fridays with the final on Friday June 7th.! The BGT final is Saturday June 8th.

I think BB will either launch that Sunday to make the most of all the bumper weekend of ratings headlines or if not one day in w/c 10th.

Also a story in Daily Star today confirms CBB is on "later this year".
