Been saving this one for sometime Pinback one underrated band diffently opened the door too MGMT and Empires of the sun.But their first album was very much the best work they put out.

And speaking of Pigface, there was a female vocalist called Lesley Rankne did a track with them, but her previous band Silverfish, and her solo work as Ruby are also worth checking out. all quite dark, Silverfish being more rocky and Ruby being sort of dark trip hop.

This thread has made me want to go back and listen to all of this kind of thing again.
Bloody hell where have I been. You know your stuff. Liking these bands. Ruby are really cool. Like the dark trip hop vibe. Can't believe Ive never heard of them before. Some of it Reminds me of the Bristol sounds. I swear the 90's produced some of the best music
