This might sound dumb and possibly very sentimental but...

I think it would be great nod the classic series if whatever adventure the 50th special takes, the 11th and Clara's turns up in a certain Trotter's Lane junkyard, and as soon as they leave in the Tardis, a couple of seconds later the 1st's Tardis appears... We never see the 1st come out, the door just opens!

Y'know takes the story full circle... Never happen though!

It would make the point, if we heard the classic TARDIS hum and door-opening sounds.

I liked the idea that they would be walking past the junkyard and the audio of Ian and Barbara would be playing

Maybe there's something that always draws the Doctor to Trotter's Lane...

Is that where Del Boy and Rodney have a junk yard...?

Seriously though, I love the idea of Matt and Jenna passing the junk yard and hearing the voices of Ian and Babs. What a lovely idea, and a really sweet way of linking the curent series with the very beginning.

These little touches are such great ideas.

I've always like the idea of an older Ian and the Doctor, sitting on a bench, talking about past advenrures. Nothing too big, nothing too complicated, just something short, sweet and simple.

Elaborating on what was said about something always drawing him to Totter's Lane, I think it would would be cool if they revealed in the 50th that Totter's Lane has some kind of significance in the Doctor's life.

I read somewhere that the 'Totters Lane' and original TARDIS console room that were built for the docudrama had been 'retained'..., wouldn't be surprised if both of them turned up in the 50th anniversary special somehow.

Typo!

I read that they've been built too... Shame not to use them! As they've got David Bradley dressed up why not use him too...?

Looking at the comments it seems the person who leaked the photo's got fired First I've heard of that, I thought they were at least semi officially leaked.

Remembrance of the Daleks is my second favourite 'classic era' story. The script has been brilliantly done and the casting is great. Love to watch that every now and then on DVD. Especially the scene with Ace attacking the cream coloured dalek with her baseball bat.

Original BBC1 trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_qlmhyUAe4

Ace Vs. Dalek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prbyQ...etailpage#t=7s

Great use of Murray Gold's music from the 10th Doctor's era!

The Caves of Androzani is my all-time favourite 'classic era' story. Love the regeneration scene. Peri is great in this. The extras on the DVD are good to see. Especially the filming of the change from Peter to Colin.

I've just bought The Caves of Androzani CD from Amazon earlier today.

The cover mentions that it's the original TV soundtrack, but that's not entirely true. It contains the incidental music, plus the Peter Howell theme, but that's it. It's not the actual episodes in full.

The CD should arrive, hopefully by Friday, if not before.
