Yeah, a real overload of salt. And as barneyboy mentioned, incredibly greasy.

I talked my local corner shop into restocking Brannigan's Roast Beef and Mustard, which I still enjoy at 70p per bag! He had the good grace to look a bit sheepish when he told me the price

I do not think there is much more salt & grease in Seabrook than most other brands, at least they are MSG free and suitable for vegetarians. I only eat 3 or 4 packs a week, i want my crisps to taste of a little salt and grease, plain low fat & salt crisps are rubbish, i would rather not bother.

Can anyone still buy Walkers Worcester Sauce flavour crisps?

I live in the South West and have been keeping an eye out for some time, but I can't find any anywhere - I'm starting to wonder if they've stopped making them

Yes. My local ASDA stocks the 6 packs of those and Pickled Onion,.
Very expensive though if not on a special offer.

They may not have more salt in accordance to the ingredient ratio, but something about the recipe makes them taste unbalanced salt-wise to my taste buds. And they definitely have more of a greasy residue than other crinkly crisps I have tried.

However, I do agree with you in spirit. I have never seen the need for 'baked' or 'low-calorie' crisps that try and mimic the real thing. I want to indulge in rubbish occasionally, not kid myself I am eating healthily when stuffing myself with empty calories.

Signed the petition, they were always my favourites. Morrisons do a fairly good effort but not as good as Walkers.

Sadly missed.I can't believe they were still on sale up till 1993.
They dissapeared in Scotland about the mid 80's.

Tudor and Golden Wonder were the only 2 brands you could find in most shops.
Both were(and GW still is) miles ahead of Walkers in the taste and crunch dept.
I remember the Tudor Hot Dog and Mustard,Saucy(brown sauce),sweet and sour, and the ones you mentioned.
Most people can never forget the Pickled Onion.Couple of packs of those and a bottle of Irn Bru from the ice cream van.
Legendary!.

Yeah,i don't think they lasted long. They were pretty yuck.
At least Tudor weren't afraid to stick their neck out and come up with totally mental ideas.
