HDR 1000S new glitch
I think I have found a new glitch with the HDR 1000S. I have discovered that I can no longer pause, rewind or skip a live or a recorded programme. If I do a factory reset the functions return only to disappear again after the box is switched off and on again. I have upgraded the HDD to 2TB.

One thing you could try is putting the original HHD back in and see if you have the same issue.
If it doesn't happen and alls normal then that could mean a problem with the new HHD. Mines got a new glitch when using YouTube as I cannot stop a video or return to the YouTube menu using the back button as those buttons have become unresponsive. Buttons work fine elsewhere though. The only way I can choose different videos is with my iPhone. I've tried a factory default, but the issue persists. |

I've just checked my you tube and I have the same experience as you. Also I paused a YouTube video and I could not get any further response from YouTube without going back to TV.

Mmmm I wonder if its a YouTube issue rather than a glitchy box issue.

It may be a long shot but I did a search on the web looking for similar problems (and there are quite a few with various makes and models of PVRs) and one of the suggestions was to use another HDMI cable. Worth a try. Easier than switching your HDDs back and forward.

Don't expect a swift fix for the YouTube issue Quote:
Thank you for contacting Humax Support.
Upon inspecting our own box I can see that ours is also not allowing the back button to function in this way. As such, I wouldn't worry too much that your box is experiencing problems and this is just an issue with the software itself. As this is a rather new application for the box it would be very likely to see updates coming out for this in the future to rectify this. Best Regards, Andrew Humax Customer Support |
