How good do you think episode 1 of BGT 2013 was out of 10? Please vote on the poll above.

I gave it a 5/10 because it was quite an average opener. The Hungarian act was excellent but among the British contestants, nothing special. A couple good singers and a comedian who was a one trick pony imo. Also they didnt utilise Ant and Dec much in thsi opener even though they are very popular. 2009 and 2012 first episodes were better.

I wont be watching again, I think it's the same every year now the lady with her bits out!. the screeching child who is fantastic but in reality has a average voice & is pushed through to the final's. The crying singer who astounds everyone, But again is just Average! The comedian's who are not funny, But Amanda is screeching like she finds it hilarious with her fake head back & that stupid look on her face! Did I miss anything? Next!

I have given a low score as i wasnt impressed at all, the way the judges go on about some of the acts is so OTT, like we have never heard it before(every year they say the same, the programme is stale now IMO)

I thought it was really good! Prefered it to The Voice!

i gave it a low score due to production values. was it REALLY nesisary to put the bad "abled" comedian b4 the "dis". mafe my heart flutter actualy looked like "able bashing". just felt weird. but that we guy wad a bloody natural @ comedy. rofl

it seems to be more about the judges

I thought it was a very enjoyable episode and a good mix of acts.

i thought it was pretty decent, it's just the production of it that's annoying, with the fake towie vibes.

9/10 - just coz those shadow dancers attraction were blooming amazing

I was surprised how good this episode actually was.

Probably my favourite BGT episode ever. I don't always watch it, but based on this opening show I may stick around.

I though that the standard of several acts was very high indeed.

Thought it was a very strong start with some good acts being shown - the chair dancer, the comedian, the girl singer, the lady singer and Attraction should all be in the finals week so that's five places taken already.

I gave it a 5.

The talent was quite good, I loved The Attraction. Alice and Arixsandra were good, although potentially overhyped. I didn't find the young comedian's routine all that funny, he was funnier before and after his act in my opinion.

Wasn't a fan of the judges, the David/Simon bromance (for lack of a better word) really is tedious and Alesha and Amanda were almost nonexistent. The production values were really annoying - the TOWIE feel, and I think you could hear what some members in the audience were saying during the act which I didn't like. That along with the mob mentality of the crowd ("off off off") and humiliating the contestants don't appeal to me.

All in all, some promising talent and a decent launch.

I hovered between 4 or 5, I think next weeks will be better .. they still dont seem to get that as viewers we like comedy or anything that lively, its saturday night!!!! more talent was better id give that 7.5

really but the thing is the best acts i think have possibly shown their best so what do they do next

A lot of 8's and 9's

You can't really say that until we get to the next round - the Gospel Choir may not have the surprise element any more but they still have the potential to go all the way. And with Attraction, there's so much more they can do I believe. Arisxandra was good but with a better (and more appropriate) song, she could be better.
