For me it would be Daphne, I just love her kookiness and I find Jane Leeves incredibly attractive, even though she is old enough to be my mother.

Can't blame Niles for falling in love with her.

I liked all of them but I think Ros was my favourite.

Maris. Funniest character in sitcom history.

For me, it started off Niles, but eventually he became far too prissy, snooty and irritating to be likeable anymore. I still liked when he got taken down a peg or two, but it became funnier to laugh at his misfortune/humiliation than what the character said or did.

She was my least favourite, I hated her rubbish Manchester accent. I loved Ros.

Of the main characters, Niles. Of the non-regulars, I think Bebe.

OT slightly, but does anyone know what DHP did after Frasier? I can't recall seeing him in anything else, but I can't believe he's ever struggled for work.

Looking at his IMDB he seems to have done a huge amount of voice work for movies and TV. He's currently on Broadway in Uncle Vanya with Sigourney Weaver and had a part in Down With Love not long ago.

My favourite characters would be Niles and Lillith

Least favourite (by a mile) Daphne's mother. I find it hard to watch episodes that she, especially, features in. Daphne's brother Simon is very irritating too.

It's her voice on the subway trains on Seattle too.

Major characters aside, I did love Frasier's agent, Bebe

Described as a woman with "morals that would have raised eyebrows in the court of Caligula"

LOL

Interesting that all the strong characters were women; Roz, Daphne, Lilith, Bebe, Maris, Kate Costas..

Niles definitely, Frasier not far behind.

Couldn't abide Bebe or her office 'staff'; hurled bricks at every member of the Moon family except Daphne, and even her odd "British" American dialogue was a bit off sometimes. Loved it when the relationship with Niles finally got there though - the episode when she sneaks a look in a patient's file is heartbreakingly good!
