If only people could make calls on such days, bet network will have problems again.

I don't think I'll ever leave O2 whilst they give me 300 free texts every month.. I'm lost without them!

I've been with o2 for a few months now and have had no problems whatsoever - my texts always get delivered with no delay, my calls always connect and the customer care people have been really helpful. I ported my old number to my new SIM and that was 100% sucessful and happend when and how they said it would/should.

i had 300 free texts a month off them, even that wasn't enough to keep me

i'm getting 2005 free texts out of T-Mobile

I'd much rather have the 300 per month :P

i'd rather have reliability over pricing, i know i wont get monthly free texts on T-Mobile and i know that once the 2005 free text offer is over, it's over...

but i'm finding T-Mobile to be quite good and reliable, O2 just cant give me the reliability i want

That's fair enough. Personally, I don't get many problems though.

I don't think I'd ever leave o2 aslong as the 300 text thing remains. It seems weird paying for text messages now as I rarely run out of the 300.

I once used the 300 texts within 12 days, and so had to pay for texts at normal rate for the remaining time. I spent a hell of alot more on credit, even by slightly reducing the amount of texts I send.

Although the offer seems too good to be true in some people's eyes, O2 are laughing at us as the profits go through the roof. They've got their heads screwed on.

But this aside, the quality of the actual service shouldn't deteriorate - there are still 02 customers that aren't part of the O2 Online tarriff and if the reason for the delays in text messages is because of the number of texts being sent by the O2 Online users, then this is wrong, and O2 should most definately think about this.

i've never had any problems with o2 in the 5 years i've been using them, upgrades no probs whatsoever, although i do know of people who have had major probs.

seems you either get good service or a bit dodgy service.

ah well...

After you run over the 300, messages are charged at 10p each, instead of 12p. Doesnt sound like much of a saving. But if your sending alot of messages then this could make a difference

No, the messages are charged at 12p with Pay and Go Online Original. Pay and Go Talkalot are charged at 10p.

I am never gonig back to O2 again and never gonig back to Three either (unless theres a really decent 3 phone out in the future thats affordable) I switched back to Virgin about a year ago from O2 online I would rather have a much better and cheaper service than have 300 free texts on a crap network. They never even had a dedicated number to tell how many texts you had left so how unorganised is that?? I mean even 3 are better organised than O2!!

O2 network is full of problems. Fair enough some ppl out their wont have any problems but their ar efar more ppl who do have trouble with o2 than those who dont. I myself have had so many issues with them. I gave up trying to get help because their foreign online customer serivce ppl, if u can call them that were utterly clueless..

One thing though i laugh at is this:

When my monthly 300 free texts runs out at the end of each month i keep finding that i still get them free for anothr short period so i dont bother topping up at the end of the month i wait till i start getting charged for my texts then top up lol.

This happen to anyone else?
