To me the way she went on and how she dressed was an act to get people to like her. I do not buy her act for one second. I think it was calculated and she is not like that at all.

The show wants rags to riches stories and she gave them just that.

How she was dressed? Jeans, long sleeved t shirt and canvas flats?? What basically most girls her age are wearing isnt it?!

She was very shabberly dressed and had a massive hair clip in holding her hair back. Sorry if going on national tv you DO NOT dress like that.

I thought she looked lovely, very natural and unpretentious and certainly not shabby, but I guess it's all a matter of personal taste

She was simply dressed, rather than shabbily. It varies very much on talent shows anyway. Some people go for a ultra glamorous look, others dress down.

If she was faking it, then she needs to be an actress, not a singer, because that's clearly where her talents are!

Yeah it was a strange choice of clothes maybe for someone that beautiful and in the beauty industry herself. I guess they find these people on youtube or some scout sees them at a gig and then the producers mold her and tell her what to appear like and act in the first audition.

Doesn't bother me too much as she was amazing and can clearly sing.

Was she the one who said she had taken no one with her to the audition as she didn't want to 'let them down' (or whatever)? If so, I thought she sang with a lot of emotion, but her singing ability wasn't good. She needs vocal training, and maybe with it, she could make an good to average jazz singer.

She was just dressed normally, don't get why anyone would think there was anything odd about that. Anyway, I thought she didn't start off that well but got better and better as she gained confidence throughout the performance, and her crying afterwards seemed pretty real to me. So no, not fake, just seemed like a pretty modest girl.

I do think the nerves are fake. Well, to the extent she showed them. Nerves are normal but they must've told her to play up to it.

She was not that great. She obviously believes in herself and her talent to have auditioned for two big shows. The judges gave her far too much praise, probably to rub it in the face of The Voice and trick the public. It has obviously worked on some!!

Her voice wasn't and that is all that matters.

actually i saw her on Lorraine today and i dont think she is a fake. I dont think shes nervous about singing i think shes a very nervous person in general, she was unable to look lorraine in the eye, kept getting tongue tied

People don't half write some drivel online. Why would she fake being nervous or dress down. She looked stunning, her voice is sensational and her musical intelligence astounding. She is the real thing.

I think she probably dressed casually for the producer rounds as nobody would.see her and then they asked her to wear.the same for the audition for continuity incase the cameraspotted her in the audition queue.

Perhaps you were too busy looking at her cloths to hear her singing.. try listening next time, you may learn something :yawn:
