The Samsung Tab 2 has GPS but no HDMI

The Kindle HD has HDMI but no GPS.

Does any tablet have both?

The Archos 80 XS does.

Methinks it comes with a keyboard dock but its only at the Mini screen resolution.

Thanks, but the Asus Transformer is way too dear, and the Nexus 10 is too big.

As Shall said checkout the playbook
Checkout Spec. http://uk.blackberry.com/playbook-ta...let-specs.html
The Playbook is a bit short on apps but for £129 they are a good buy.

Why?

Some satnav apps. need to update the map as you go so unless you preload maps and destination first you will need to tether the tablet with your mobile to update maps using up mobile phone data as you go, also if you want traffic info and road works reports etc. and with a 7 or 10-inch tablet stuck on the dash it does restrict your view somewhat.

Im sure that rather than spending another £100 or so, the user will figure out what he/she wants from the vast choice of navigation apps.

Some do and some don't - so if you don't want it to download as you go just get one with preloaded maps.

I can see a 10" tablets being a bit large on your windscreen but a 7" one would probably be fine.

Actually a 7" tablet is a bit big to screen mount. A 7" tablet is physically much larger than that and it does block a large part of the windscreen.

What I do if I want to use mine, I have one of those plastic discs that fix to the dashboard and then fit the tablet to a modified case back piece that fits a normal phone holder. That then places the tablet away from the windscreen but still visible.
