Help - I think my custard base for ice cream has curdled

As I said I think my custard base for ice cream has curdled. Is there anyway I can rescue it? Should I just start again?

I've used the same recipe countless times and I've never had it look like this before. It tastes fine but just looks a wee bit odd. It looks as though it has millions of little lumps in it and I don't think I'd get it to go through a sieve.

Any suggestions or tips would be brilliant.

You can put it in a blender, then put it though a sieve.
