Tesco porridge oats

I've been buying these, the standard bags of them, but recently it seems to be more outer shell than oats, is there a better alternative or is some shell casing to be expected in all brands?

I get Sainbury Taste The differnce Whole Rolled Porridge Oats............

no complaints, never noticed 'shell' in there, although I guess there must be a bit.............

I reckon Flahavans Irish oats ( Tesco) are the best I've tasted.
