Jamaican Patties
I found a couple of recipes to make these for lunch tomorrow.
http://www.waitrose.com/home/recipes...n_patties.html Does anyone make their own patties and have a more authentic recipe? |

Levi Roots has some recipies for them on the BBC site.
Also Jamie Oliver did a trip around britain and visited a family who made them so i'm guessing that recipe will also be out there. |

Hello Jamaican food lovers
You also can try to get some cooking tips from Star Jerk Hut in London. Just ask them through their contact form so friendly chaps will answer for sure. Good luck! Hold on, nearly forgot their website http://caribbeancuisine.web-media.mobi

I've had Jamaican patties near Falmouth on the north coast of Jamaica - they're luuuurvelly! Almost as good as their jerk chicken and pork. Their omelettes are gorgeous and of course their golden rum.
