As per title really. I want to make use of some leftover pastry without buying anything else. Any ideas?

If you have some pigeon breast or mince there's a middle eastern dish you could make. The jam would be a bit of a suprise though.

Add some apple and you could make a strudel, but I would ditch the jam for that.

Hmm, so is there nothing I could do with literally just those ingredients?

How about I just do two layers of filo, with jam (and rainsins??) in between, brush with butter and sprinkled with sugar? Would that work?

Yep.
It's probably not got a name, but it will certainly be edible.

Could do a pastry version of bread and butter pudding or mini jam tartlets.

Couldn't you make a confectioners custard, let it solidify and make a kind of 'manchester tart' strudel?

In the end I made filo jam tarts. Butter 3 small squares of pastry per tart and place them into a cup cake tray. Bake about 20 mins, spoon in a good jam/conserve, dust with sugar.

They were pretty tasty!
