When I was little, every so often Walker's did that promotion where some bags of crisps would have a little blue packet in them(Like those from salt & shake), and if you were lucky you would find a £20 note in them or if you were unlucky a cardboard token for a free packet of crisps that shops would still charge you a few pence for when you try to use it because they overcharge.

Then you had crisps like Dorito's that had little round things called Tazos in them that you could play a weird little game with or get a special binder to put them in so you could collect the whole set.

Now days all we get are "Create your own flavour from this incredibly small list we'll let you choose from"

What the hell happened?!

Soon you'll be lucky to find a crisp! The number of crisps in the small bags get fewer and fewer. I had 4 the other day, plus a load of bits. Far better to buy the 150g bags.

I buy the Family bags nowadays as it feels like you are getting more for your money. Small bags you are just basically paying for a pretty wrapper.

Those are what I mean, the family bags, either Walkers or the supermarket own makes. They're often on offer at half-price or bogof too. A small bag of Walkers crisps is 74p in our small newagents. Is that dear or do they all charge that? We're near a school so they know the teens will pay it.

74p?!! Most I've paid for a small bag of crisps is around 60p or 65p. I usually spend around 50p
That's definitely above average for a bag at 74p

74p is normal around manchester, I bought a Max from my newsagent, it cost me 74p for about 1/4 of the packet, it didn't even taste all that. I've never bought one since.
I stick to my 20p space raiders now, they taste a hell of a lot better and you get a good amount.
