In light of the dramatic events of last night, I have decided to reopen the voting lines and take the vote again.

The acts remaining in the Semi-Final were:

Steve and the Girls
Christina Parie

Tom and the Over 25s
Mitchell Callaway
Stacy Francis

David and the Wildcards
Declan Sykes
Kitty Brucknell

The vote was skewed somewhat last night and I am doubting my calculations. Since I have no previous votes to go on due to me emptying my inbox (stupidly) I have decided to hold a revote to decide the three acts for the Final.

A reminder of the performances:

bit unfair, isn't it?

I think that's a much fairer choice, not sure whether it'll make that much of a difference but thank you anyways for doing this favor for us.

If you'd been present last night you would've saw the agro. Plus I have no records to back up my results for last night so I think this is a fair way.

unfair on Kitty & Mitchell (the acts who the agro was not about) but I understand why it is happening.

I will re-send my votes to Jack

I know it's not fair on them, but it would be unfair to not include them in the overall vote in my eyes

Oh yeah I know, go for the revote, its cool beans, that way the right three will go through without any bad blood between us judges and stuff, go for gold

I'm not revoting, you made the decision last night (rightly or wrongly) to include the skewed vote.

Its pointless now having a recount - the decision was already made and the finalists picked.

What's done has been done

It's your choice not to revote, just remember that when the results come in. This has basically voided last night's results so it's starting fresh

I've revoted but the whole thing is a big mess

Actually seeing as Mitchell as part of the Skew too, his place is probably uncertain as well

I will not be here, this is a mess, really not worth it, as Yohin said we have our finalists.

I revoted, will catch up later.

Hope my overs are safe!

LINES ARE NOW CLOSED!

I have the verified votes to hand and I will now be announcing the finalised line-up for the final

After the revote, I appear to have 1 less vote than last night which makes me believe that I had included a duplicate vote somewhere by accident which I had expected.

So now we have:

Steve with Christina
Tom with Mitchell and Stacy
David with Declan and Kitty

The results are in...

Something tells me it might be the same result, but in this year, I'm trying hard to not jump to conclusions.

An afterword:
Spoiler
I'm sorry this happened everybody. After spending the day thinking back on last night's results I began to think it may have been a miscalculation on my part. After looking at the votes I received last night and stupidly emptying my nearly full inbox following the show I had no proof to go over my calculations. Looking back now, I had one extra vote last night and everybody who voted last night had voted again today so I believe I have added a duplicate vote last night by accident. This is most likely due to me viewing the message in my e-mail then adding it again directly from my PM. I'm very, very sorry about the aftermath of last night's show and something should have been done in the first place to rectify this. I know many of you will be disappointed in my stupidity from last night and all I can do is apologise. It was no-ones fault but mine and for that I am truly sorry. I'm also very sorry to Tom, who was given the false information that Stacy would appear again in the final; and also to Steve who went through the shock of losing Christina. Let's just try and get the final out the way next week and try to end the show on a positive note. It really is anyone's game now. Apologies again to all.

Ahhh, so that's why we had that result last night

It's alright Jacka, I used to make that mistake a few times when I was started out hosting games, calculating numbers is always a challenge for most people.

But either way, I'm just glad that this has got cleared up now...why does your games always have controversal moments? LOL

wanna know something why don't you just freaking have a final 5 in the final then two go after first part then you announce the winner after the second voting part because sorry this has been handled very badly and this seems like the only decent way of doing it

I agree with this. You cant give Stacy a place in the final, then take it away from her 24hrs later.. besides, shocks happen on these games, and if you don't get the result most judges want, it doesn't mean re-opening the voting

I think it was more than the vote was skewed towards Tom's acts in the first place due to a vote of just 2 acts (Tom's) being accepted and therefore skewing the results in favour of 2 acts.

However the point is, the vote was accepted, therefore my own opinion is that the original decision should still stand. I don't agree with it, but then I don't agree with the revote. Short of rewinding time there isn't really a lot to appease the situation.

Also the revote was a very rushed job anyway - I basically read the message with 10 minutes to spare because I was at the Gym and not on the internet. Therefore had I missed it, what would have happened then?

You'd of probably lost your acts (or come close too)

I was waiting for you anyway and was going to freeze the vote until you had voted as it would've been unfair against your acts. You always seem to doubt me David, I do have some form of a brain

Thank you for being understanding on the most part and I will see you for the Final on Sunday
