It's pity we weren't allowed to execute our Terrorists......... we had to let them go.
and now some of them are in key positions of power....
We bail out our "terrorists" with taxpayers money.

It troubles me that the moment anybody suggests that this wasn't a run of the mill terrorist attack they are shot down as conspiracy theory nuts.

Regardless of what it actually was, and with all the information that has been released so far from official and unofficial sources, something doesn't seem quite right. I have no idea what that "something" is as of yet..... but because I say that, am I a CT loon?

Even the stories from law enforcement officials seems to be changing on a daily rate.
People who used to accuse Jimmy Savile before he died of being a paedo were labelled CT nuts, additionally there are some people still in denial of his actions despite what has transpired since.

Some people just don't or can't accept certain things in life that go against their core beliefs. But that goes for everyone, from the CTers to those who deny such CT's. It's like a safety mechanism for the human mind.

I had a discussion with friends regarding Saddam Hussein who didn't know the US actually supplied him weapons and helped bankroll his military campaigns prior to the first gulf war. Even when I brought up the official declassified documents on the net they still couldn't believe it and wouldn't accept it. Thats just the way the human brain works.

It happens on a lot of the long running thread .Its become cliquey and anyone who dares ask or question any part of the story is suddenly a CT or daft and silly . It seemed to be the cool thing to point and snigger at anyone who was not quite sure about certain issues .
The aggression by a few posters here yesterday towards me and others who were simply not quite sure about some points was disgraceful .
Some points didnt sit right with me either but some are becoming clearer as the reporting is more researched .But even to post a few days ago that some points in this saga seemed odd brought the wrath of some down and they were rude and aggressive .Which is why I now dont even post a query
Having said that it was only a few and some posters were helpful with links and information ,

Oh bless the conspiracies, they're cute.

I loving how many actors were involved doing prosthetic and stuff in an instant. I've heard of method acting, but some of these guys don't half take their job seiously! Also, how the smoke was a cover for all the actors to come out of the shop window that had been blown through and take position. I like that one

Somewhere out there, there is 'proof' that it was in a studio because on one photo there are road marking and on another they're behind a police woman running. I do have a soft spot for the elbow/bag debate though. I'm wondering, if he had his back pack with him, could he have taken the man hole, tree and road markings with him in that?
Someone posted a screen-capture of the David Icke forums over the weekend. One person claimed that the chap in a wheelchair was an actor. How could we believe such a thing? Because the person making the claim was a trained "Medical Emergency Technician". How could one NOT believe such an upstanding member of the community?

The "swap" was apparently caught on CCTV, allowing them to do a frame-by-frame analysis of how it was set up. It involved a trio of people, all communicating via a set of hand gestures, in order to remove the gruesome prosthesis from a bag, attach it seamlessly, then take a bottle of fake blood and apply it to the "open wound" and the floor around him.
All the frames were numbered, and this all took place within about 10 frames - i.e half a second! They are swift-movers, these actors!

I think one of the problems is that a few fms do not bother to do any reading, apart from the most basic, around a subject before posting (and I do not mean just this thread). I sometimes get the impression that they use DS as a news update service. The circumstances and events surrounding the bombing are very complex and intertwined. There is probably no one single reason as to why the two brothers became bombers....home circumstances, disillusionment, an increase in interest in politics and religion, etc. etc. will all play a part to a greater or lesser degree, and until a full investigation has been undertaken, much information is yet unclear or unknown.

It works both ways. Some fms decide immediately on hearing one bit of information that they must be, say, jihardists, whilst others have doubts but are unable to vocalise why they have doubts. There have been extremely good links to various reports and articles (often provided by SadBB) which are worth reading and do provide additional information upon which it is possible to make a more informed judgment. On the contrary, there are some sites that are CT sites and the stuff there is mindbogglingly ill-informed and manipulated.

Apologies for the ramble and, PinkP this is in no way a dig at you!

I see your point and agree that it works both ways .But one r two posters on this thread crossed the line of ill manners and its off -putting for those who are simply interested but not obsessed with the story .
By no means a dig at you star as you were one who was welcoming of others who were not totally committed to one story and one story only .Oh and I read your link posted yesterday with great interest TY

Would be hilarious if it wasn't so sick and disrespectful.

Some of the broken brains on the forums at davidicke.com think the Boston amputees were only acting.

I think that because the powers that be haven't released absolutely 100% of the data, some get 'a funny feeling' when they can't join absolutely everything up and others invent things to fill the gaps and them run with that.

I was attacked earlier for bringing religion into a thread but it's exactly the same process: Some people can see there are gap, and live with that knowing that we may have the answer one day. Others can't cope with gaps and have funny feeling and have to plug those gaps with any nonsense they can.

The bottom line is that we don't have all the info at the and have no right to it either like some think that we do. Stop going all wibbly wobbly about it and/or inventing nonsense to fill the gaps.

Yet you were one of those who attacked others for seeing a gap and questioning it .I for one had no intention of filling a gap with nonsense , but you mistook or misread and treated me like a nutty CT before having the manners to accept that not all are fully accepting just yet of questionable oddities . By no means am I or many other making assumptions about silly theories but simply have a feeling in our heart that some points need to be clarified and maybe explained at a later date .
However I have learned over many years that some people are simply not good listeners and not always able to treat others with respect so I have also learned not to even bother with them and walk away .

Boston bomber: FBI 'dropped the ball' over Tamerlan Tsarnaev

The FBI was alerted by Russia's security services to serious new concerns about one of the Boston bomb suspects as recently as last November, it was claimed on Sunday night.

As the agency was accused of "dropping the ball" over the case, NBC News reported that Tamerlan Tsarnaev had been seen making six visits to a known Islamic militant in a mosque in the Russian republic of Dagestan.

The visits came during a six month trip that Tamerlan made to the city of Makhachkala to see his family, NBC said.

According to a local police official, a case file on Tsarnaev was then handed over to the FBI along with a request for further information. However, the FBI never replied.

On this I think we can agree. I wonder how much of it is that we are so conditioned into getting complete stories (what with TV, the internet and even back to the novel) that when we DON'T get a complete narrative (which of course happens a lot in real life) some people feel almost "cheated" in the way you'd feel cheated if an awesome subplot in a show you were watching was suddenly dropped without trace, and try to, as you say, fill in the gaps, because the existence of the gaps is almost an affront to narrative itself.

Then pull YOURSELF together, stop having wibbly wobbly feelings, face the fact that they have not released everything, stop getting ridiculously over emotional about things and above all, stop blaming other people for your inability to accept gaps for just the simple thing they are.

Your post reads like an emotional load of nonsense: feeling in hearts, respect, attacked, other assorted victim playing for effect. Get a grip and deal with reality and the facts. Nothing more.

Filling gaps in something that is already a fantasy as in the latest episode of Dallas is just fine. It's the filling gaps in real life things and attaching wibbly wobbly feelings and other emotional claptrap to them and blaming others where the problems start.

It is these people who are basically emotionally unstable and love nothing better than playing the victim for yet more emotional attention that they live on.

This is a factual case: Using words like 'in my heart' and other such nonsense have no part of it.

No disagreement from me there. Real life IS messy, there are and always will be gaps. You never get an "episode" of the News where they neatly wrap everything up and explain all the bits that didn't seem to make sense. The problem arises when people see the existence of these gaps as evidence of something, when in fact there are just gaps because real life isn't a carefully constructed work of fiction.

So if people refuse to listen and put up with your emotional wibbly wobby nonsense you make it out to be their fault and never a problem with you?

If anyone thinks the brothers have been set up, I am willing to listen. So far I haven't read or seen anything to back that up.

The FBI should have video of the brothers coming in with backpacks, setting them down near the persons who would absorb initial impact of the explosion, and walking away before the bombs went off.

It's a little sad to consider a skinny 19 year old who was well liked and got into this.

Even in the US it is not good form to imply the FBI are lying ( that they would indeed be if it is a set up) without coming up with the goods to show how.

Saying that governments lie some of the time is not the same as saying they lie all of the time about every event. That would be scary.

To be fair Kolin, at least it's passive aggressive, unlike the aggressive aggressive you seem to be responding with.
So some people like to fill the gaps with their gut feeling. Big deal - we probably all do this everyday to some degree. Live and let live.

If they FBI had any records on him why had they not identified him before the published the suspects pictures. I wonder who actually identified them. His name would also be on normal file as he had domestic violence charge( which may have been against his wife because his daughter is 3( contrary to the Canadian aunt who said she is of a similar age to the boy who died) and charges were in 2009)
I don't believe it's a complete set up but something doesn't fully add up.

The FBI interviewed him, but saw no threat to the US. That isn't particularly surprising, according to a Russian expert on BBC NEWS, the US basically haven't really paid much attention to fighting in Chechnya or adjacent states, and haven't been against those fighting for independence from Russia. Remember the US supported the Mujahideen's fight to break Afghanistan from the Soviet Union. The Russian analyst suggested this was complacent as the conflict in Chechnya, which has now been pushed into Dagestan, after Kadyrov cracked down there, has steadily involved more & more international jihadists with a global jihadist agenda.

The same Russian analyst however also tried to push the entire blame on the US, saying the visit to Dagestan by Tamerlan last year, was simply 'a visit to his parents'. Other sources suggest otherwise, with him being seen repeatedly visiting an Islamic militant in a mosque there, his aunt in Dagestan, in the BBC NEWS interview, also stated he travelled all over Dagestan and Chechnya, but only to visit relatives, it seems unlikely she can really have known that's all he was doing.

I don't believe it's a complete set up but something doesn't fully add up.
The issue people have when people say that, is you often don't say what specifically doesn't add up, which means you sort of make yourself unwilling to engage in debate as no one can really argue with the ethereal 'something'.
