How long should my Foxsat hdr take to load this information?
I find that it's taking between 20 to 40 minutes and if the box is turned off and on again within 5 minutes it start the process again.
I have done a factory reset but still the same,is this normal

Im not too sure on that model, but it does seem a rather long time.
Goto channel 407 and see what the signal info is as thats the transponder where the info comes from.
If its not very good then a dish realign could resolve the issue.
Other than that it could possibly be an LNB or Box fault.

Post what software version you have.

Menu System Diagnostics

Should take about 30 - 40 seconds.

Do a freesat tune but don't save the results.

Assuming this gets rid of the problem, try displaying the guide by pressing the schedule button on the remote followed by the red button. This should give you a near instant guide.

I have just checked channel 407 and the signal is around 90 and quality a stable 75 and it is still loading the information.

The problem using the schedule is it makes the remote control work very slowly.

The software is Loader U.7.51 and Software HPRSFC1.00.21
I just done a Freesat retune and not saved but still the same

Something is wrong. Try putting the box into standby and turn off the power for 2 mins.

What signal do you get on say BBC1 HD?

May be it's me, When I enter the guide it states receiving programme information if I leave the guide on it does take around 30 to 60 seconds to update and if I leave the guide then go back it repeats the process, I thought that it would update all the time the box was active and once updated that would hold that information.

Pressing guide starts a whole new download every time from scratch.

If you press the schedule button followed by red you get the epg that is stored on the local hard disc. If you happen to be recording pressing guide does the same. The hard disk epg is updated continuously while the box is on so you really only ever to press guide once after a reset to quickly build the hard disc copy.

More help needed, since I carried out a factory reset yesturday I now find that I have lost the Freesat / non Freesat option in the menu.
I wouldn't have thought that a reset would have removed the option,
Is there a way I could get it back?

Is it recording?

From what I can recall several options are only present when the box is idle.

Automan.

As a factory reset deletes all your Non Freesat channels the option won't be there.

It sets the box up as you received it except it doesn't touch your existing recordings.

Run a manual tune to get them back.
