Creamed coconut
Is creamed coconut the same thing as coconut cream?
I've never used either, so don't want to use the wrong thing. Thanks |

Here are 3 examples
Creamed Coconut - Solid block. Needs letting down with boiling water http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-...nut_4x50g.html Coconut Cream - Block with with moisture. Like cream chese consistence. Yes. Creamed coconut will keep in the cupboard as it is a dried product.
The other two are fresh. The difference is the consistancy and strenght of flavour but that depends on how much you use and how much you dilute it. |
