I love Knee Deep In My Heart, it is very catchy and very country - I can just imagine the music video with him singing it in a little bar with band playing while people are dancing and drinking around him - maybe even a bar fight can happen in the end

Don't hold your breath for the single doing so well, they haven't promoted it at all, they just keep on pushing the album - I mean, the single isn't even put on iTunes.

For the album, I do hope he gets Top 10, but even Top 15 this time again wouldn't be bad at all.

By the way, here is Shane's recorded acoustic version of What About Now, it is from "Everything to Me" EP - South East Asian version.

I love this slightly different melody of the song.

Shane has done a live stream answering many fan questions about the album and the tour:

I am really happy with how the record company seems to take care of Shane's career - we are talking about 12-18 months of promoting it with lots of singles, tv appearances and traveling worldwide. Plus, it will be great to see how well he will get on in USA.

By the way he keeps going on and on about All You Need To Know, I just can't wait to hear it already.

-regarding "about you" availability on itunes... i thought it is already available, i once checked it charting there before..

-what about now acoustic version is just fantastic, it has charted very high on itunes philippines..

- i am also very happy that capitol records is taking really good care of him.. with the kind of music that he has now.. give him a good promotion, he'll surely break USA!

AND I AM VERY EXCITED WITH "All You Need To Know", is this the song he is referring to be the most beautiful song he he has ever heard?

I don't know about other countries but About You is definitely on UK & Irish iTunes.

https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/ab...le/id704983052

I don't think they're going to promote it much though, I think it's all going to be about getting the album out there.

His livestream was really interesting and props to him for actually talking about his music! I think 'Knee deep in my heart' possibly being the 4th single again shows that they're not too bothered about single success as it's already available to download. Really looking forwards to 'All You Need To Know' however, as it's his favourite hopefully they will push that as a single as well as getting the album selling more. I doubt he'll get a top 10 with a post album single and it doesn't look like About You is going too, but hopefully he can get a few more top 20's under his belt as relying on the album completely is very risky with how poor sales are!

Sorry, I just saw what I wrote - I actually meant to say they haven't even posted a link of iTunes pre-order for About You on his website - they are clearly just pushing the album.

Has anybody already joined Sun + so he/she could maybe rip the songs and send it to me? I already bought the Deluxe edition so I won't harm him

Here is Shane's interview and performance of Once:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwGcrl3_cGE

He always looks so humble and bad when he talks about the bankruptcy, it is very obvious he is feeling guily of the damage he has caused to the people - that is why I feel bad when people are dissing him saying nasty things when this could have happened to anyone, and it actually did happen to a lot of people. It is not like he wasted everything on drugs, alcohol or gambling.

here is preview of Shane's album:

I already know I'll really enjoy the album, it is so positive and sweet. I'm glad he is happy, I can hear it through these songs, it is his way of dealing with hard times.
Coming Home sounds beautiful and I really love the sound of In The End.

Also, Baby Let's Dance sounds so much better than the acoustic version.

it's nice to hear that kind of review..

i am really hoping for the success of the album, i hope many people could be transparent and give him a chance.. for sure the album is fresh, trendy and very different from westlife, with the quality of the album, songs in it we are hearing, the album deserves to be a massive hit... hope he conquers America too..

currently (not hearing all songs in the album), my favorite is KNEE DEEP IN MY HEART.. lyrics and melody is so catchy! hope he sings it in X FACTOR

I'm a little worried now, the only thing I've seen on the release schedule is 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' on Monday, but he won't perform on that and is unlikely to talk about his album much if at all. And we know he leaves for Asia half way through the week. I know people always say 'don't obsess over the charting and enjoy the music' but I want him to do well enough he can keep releasing. Cross fingers the album does go top 10 and doesn't drop like a stone the following week. Very excited to hear it though.

I also want Shane to do well, but I am not expecting anything huge. We have to keep in mind that the album sales are truly dreadful this year and that it is not easy for Shane, only a few artists after boyband managed to have a successful career.

A Top 10 spot would be amazing, even Top 15 would be solid...

a lot of competition!!!!!!

anyway! really hoping for the best

how was he doing in amazon pre order charts?
siriusrose
31-10-2013
Currently on Amazons chart at:

125 & 139, that includes both pre-orders and albums already out. Really would like to see him in the top 100 very soon! I guess that BOTH versions are just outside is positive. Fingers crossed he has a lot of orders through his main site too, really would like to see his album go top 10!

His album leaked today. it is great that it didn't earlier than that.

I definitely can't wait until my album arrives (I live in Croatia, who knows when it will come ), so I am listening to it now.

So far a great pop album!

Thank you for posting the promo... I'm worried as there's not really much there, he won't be performing (and probably not even talking about his music) on Nevermind the buzzcocks or Celeb Juice. There going to be good for getting his profile up though, but Loose Women is the only half decent thing on there. I was hoping he'd get on at least one of the big shows: X-Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, Graham Norton, Alan Carr or Jonathon Ross. Even things like This Morning or Lorraine to perform on as well would have been good.

In the End is my favorite track on the album. I could see it doing very well if it's released as a single

I read from 1 site while back that he will be performing on Strictly so maybe this will still happen. However, he definitely won't be on The X Factor, he never believed he would get the slot in the first place.

It would be great to see him on Alan Carr, that is always hilarious

He is no.6 in Ireland, this is good. Plus, we have to keep in mind that probably many of the fans bought it from his webstore with signed editions and everything.

iamstrong, I also love In The End, it is definitely single worthy. He said a few times now he wants to release many singles in the course of 18 months so we will see - I hope they stick to that because this is a perfect way to promote the album, just look at Pink and Rihanna, they always release 5-6 singles.

I'm also worried about the promo, but I guess the big shows tend to have people that have already made it and are very successful, but its frustrating.

Shane is going to be on Lorraine on the 5th November so that's something

He's currently number 3 in Ireland on itunes. I hope it stays at least top 10 on itunes all week, and then hopefully the physical sales will bring it up. I would love for it to go top 5 in Ireland

First review of the album:

http://www.irishtimes.com/culture/mu...d-me-1.1579318

I think this is a little too harsh and I get the feeling she gave already a bad review before even listening to it. Mentioning Buble is completely pointless as Walsh was saying that before Shane was even recording - we only later found out his sound would be folky/country and Walsh never mentioned Buble again.

Also, you can see she didn't do any research as she never mentioned he co-wrote the album, she made it look like everything was written for him.

I'm not saying his album is outstanding or that it is the best album f 2013, but I would still describe it as a good debut effort.

I always look at the album differently when it is written by the artist, that means it is personal and that a lot of effort was put out in it. So even if it isn't anything groundbreaking, at least these are Shane's songs that mean a lot to him which I respect.
