I was just amazed not to find an appreciation thread for Bev who is one of the best soul artists that this country has ever produced, and has never had the true recognition that she deserves. I have seen her several times live in concert, and her stage performances have just been amazing.

Good idea! She should be celebrated as she is pure class.
Even though a lot of people didn't care for her 'Prodigal Sista' album, I thought it was great.

What is so good about Bev is that she is able to sing a wide variety of different music. Cant wait to hear some new material from her.

Really looking forward to seeing Bev in Memphis at The Shaftesbury Theatre in August.
