Sharp GX10 ringtone help

Hey guys i got a sharp gx10 mobile phone on Vodafone live. anyways the other day i was on vodafone live wap site and i got a realmusic tone at the time i didnt think it would work but the preview worked so i brought the tone for £3 and realtones apparently work on my phone. anyways i been trying to upload tones to my phone from a website and they don't play but from the vodafone website they do. On my phone it says the tone i have is in 'SMAF' format. I saved the file in extentions ( .mp3 - .wav - .mmf - .smaf ) i uploaded the file with with every one of these extentions and none of them work. Im just wondering does anybody know why this is happening ?

p.s. I just posted this about 30mins or so ago in general discussion but the .midi idea didnt work, the file is still 167kb i dont think my phone is uploading more then 50kb or somethin. Help !!

it wont take real tones so that means, no MP3 files... it can play WAV files but they cant be used as ringtones, only MIDI and SMAF/MMF can

To save you some money downloading files from Vodafone Live!, you could try some ringtones from the website I have listed at the bottom of this post.

It allows ringtones in different formats so you should be able to get a definitive answer to which format works for you.
