Hi there

Very interested to start watching Bollywood films.

The trouble is I don't know where to start.

Any well known films to get me started.

Thanks

3 idiots

And old bollywood especially Madhubala and Dilip Kumars films. They also have real life tragic love story which makes them as actors even more compelling.

Start with Shahrukh Khan. You can't go wrong. Devdas, though horribly depressing, is one of the most visually stunning films I've seen. Veer Zaara is probably my alltime favourite romance...dips into cheesy goodness towards the end

Second Devdas, makes you want to kill yourself but visually just spectacular.

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Dil Se, Bunti Aur Babli, Rang De Basanti, Ghajini are all great.

90's films are all round entertainers in the sense that they have a bit of everything, drama, love, tragedy, comedy, cheesiness etc. By far my most favourite era!
