Tesco Mobile
I've seen some good pay monthly deals on Tesco Mobile and i was wondering if anyone here is with them? If so, what is the service like and would you recommend them?

They use O2's network so the signal is the exact same.
They are a good low cost network for calls/mins etc... Data allowances are healthy as well. The good thing as well is that the can cap your account so you can't go over your allowance. They're a good network for low cost phones but can be a bit overpriced on high end phones. So it might be worth looking around for better deals. What type of phone do you want/need? What's your mins/texts requirements? |

My previous contract with T-Mobile had 300 minutes, unlimited text messages and unlimited data on a Samsung GT-I5800 (Galaxy Apollo) which was £15.50 a month for 24 month's and i would like something similar.
I have my eye set on a iphone but i doubt i could get a deal like that with a iphone, i'm useless at haggling. |

I have been a T-Mobile customer since i got my first pay as you go phone in 2005. Is it worth mentioning that to them to try and get a "valued customer" deal?

They'll always start out by offering the standard deals that you and i can see on the website. But after that they should start offering proper retention deals. Just keep telling them what you want and how other networks can do what you want and they should price match/beat the deal. It's how i got 50% off my contract. |

Got a sim free Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and use the £7.50 Tesco sim only deal. 250 mins, 3000 texts and 512MB data. Travelling on trains I find I get a much more consistent data signal than either 3 or Orange who I've previously used.
Just my findings... |

I use Tesco Mobile for my PAYG phone with a v good signal.
The Bundles prices are pretty good. Also I have had an occasion to contact the Customer Services after I pressed a wrong button while paying for a bundle and they were very kind and effective at sorting out my problem. |
