TARDIS!

1/ The Tardis doesn't like her. She's jealous of Clara stealing her time lord. Can't remember what episode but it was said that it's not you who chooses the tardis the Tardis chooses you.

2/ She is impossible spread over time a Tardis is not linear. Like Clara.

3/ As the last ep show's she can fly a Tardis.

4/She sometime talks a little like the tardis did when put in a human body like in the episode The Doctor's Wife.

Compassion from the 8th Doctor series was a tardis.

Tardis umm....She has taken everything in her stride aliens, time travel etc...and just the way she's spread through time.

I wouldn't have thought a TARDIS with the empath in tonight's episode saying that she was just a normal girl?.... but could be wrong...

It's been fairly hammered down that she really is just a normal human girl.

Of course that doesn't mean that someone didn't 'make' this normal human girl with a purpose in mind. I think she's been created for him - by who and for what is still the big questions.

Yes, she's a normal girl.

I think she is normal as normal can be. There just happens to be more than one of her spread throughout time for some reason. Probably has nothing to do with her but she is being used by someone or something as a pawn in some larger game leading into the 50th.

As for her flying the TARDIS...I don't think she did. I think the TARDIS done that on her own after Clara convinced her she can save The Doctor.

If anything this is another case where Clara saved the day and the 3rd time in 3 episodes. The leaf scene in Ep 2, Talked the Ice Warrior down from killing Professor last week and convincing TARDIS this week.

Anyone wondered whether Clara is doing this all with her mind somehow?

Leaf Scene if Ep 2 - maybe it wasn't the leaf that defeated the God, but Clara willing it and we're supposed to just assume the leaf is what did it.
Cold War - we assume the Ice Warrior turned the nukes off after going back to his ship to show mercy. Maybe actually Clara did it with her mind again, but we're to assume it was the Ice Warrior.
Hide - again, maybe Clara didn't fly the TARDIS, but willed it where it needed to go..... (bit similar to Bad Wolf and the TARDIS going back to the Game Station with Rose, and the TARDIS knowing where it needed to go..... going off on a tangent a bit there)?

Not really sure what I'm trying to say.... but anyways.....

Don't think this is the case, but suppose whatever she was/is can still register as human, the same way the David Tennant Doctor registered as human to scans when he became John Smith using the Chameleon Arch. So really she could still be anything or anyone - maybe even TARDIS as the original poster put. Or possibly even the Rani

I don't know why this is a big issue for people, they've been trailing the solution for years.

The Doc last came across it when he noticed Gwen/Gwyneth and now he's investigating it, as it's the last plot device left. This week he wanted to check out the psychic component because of Gwyneth's abilities.

By November he'll have realised the true - all the tropes are exhausted and there's nothing left but for the showrunner to regenerate

I'm concerned that you're not watching the same show as us... It's not spatial genetic multiplicity... Because they say the same things... He wasn't suggesting Clara was psychic more that the psychic should have spotted if she wasn't human/ real...

Fair but to him he has lived hundreds of years since he saw Gwyneth he couldn't even remember if he had a coatrack and that was sooner since he had one...

I really want to know who nicked the coat rack - that's one of those hooks that I can see them coming back to in a couple of years

Clara's interaction with the Tardis in yesterday's episode seemed a little cheeky, the way she spoke to the Tardis. I bet the Tardis took the bumpiest route judging by Clara's response when travelling in the Tardis to rescue the Doctor from the forest.

This theory does hold a bit of water but I'm not sure why she's in human form.
It is strange why the doctor hasn't picked her up on why she's so nonchalant with regards to what he is/ does.

Hmm, the Shakespeare references in yesterday's episode and the Doctors memory lapse made me wonder whether this isn't "The Tempest" (Forbidden Planet) and Clara is the Doctors id. Does that make her the next Doctor ? Or just the get out of jail card when the Doctor is on the point of dying.

I think a lot more about the TARDIS/Clara story will be explained next week. Until then there is not much to go on other than the fact there is something going on between them
