It is the first time I've read of Courtney Love being a replacement. The fact that she referred to Ellen DeGeneres being a judge gave me the idea that maybe she was offered for a position in American Idol not on The X Factor.

Kelly really excites me. Her tenure in The X Factor UK gave me the idea that she was really homesick. Something about her personality wasn't the same during the Live Shows + her rift with Tulisa. I feel that her in the US version would be phenomenal.

I still see a Cheryl come back. Sorry if I keep on pushing it.

Take anything this "article" says with a grain of salt.

They mention "America's Got Talent" as a show still looking for judges even though they've already filmed with Heidi and Mel B.

To be fair, this has been the case for the last 2 years, hasn't it? First season they'd already started filming, second season they announced Britney and Demi at the Upfronts. So May 14th should be the latest.

I can see a Simon/Demi/Ne-Yo/Kelly panel happening...

To be honest, I don't see those two being on the same panel as they're both similar and would only bring in one type of audience..that is RnB. I would much rather Kelly was on the panel, with probably someone like Enrique or Timberlake, or even some record label executive whatever (just as long as it's not Matthew Knowles )

Ne-Yo appeals to a pop audience, Kelly is an R&B artist. I don't think they are that similar at all, plus they are different genders, they would both bring something different to the show.

And considering Ne-Yo is also a songwriter and producer, he has invaluable experience which would make him a great judge and a good replacement for L.A. Ne-Yo also has his own imprint label.

Enrique would be good, but I think Justin is way too busy to be doing a show like the X Factor, plus the press would inevitably find a way to link it to Britney which I don't think he would want.

Ne-Yo is RnB though

But he's also pop. And what's wrong with having them both on the same panel anyway. I think it would be great, especially considering Ne-Yo and Kelly are friends. The panel would have great chemistry.
