Im not going to lie, I will be a tad disappointed if Z and Val dont win or don't even come second . I have never been invested into watching dwts honestly like this , since season 9. Even in season 14 were I was started to get invested again, I knew that my favs katherine and mark were not going to win but I supported them till the end regardless.

I absolutely love, love , love Z and Val's their partnership : She made Val so likeable to me .They have climbed up the ranks to be my favourite dwts couple ever and thats quite a feat .This is what this show is mostly about for me : great chemistry, dancing....great personalities. I was dubious about their pairing at first but it worked so well for them .
I dont know what kind of miracle Val is going to pull off for that showdance but it needs to be impressive because I want them to win.

Me too I adore Zendaya and Val, voting for them since the beginning and I truly want them to win. I also felt that many times they were underscored while other couples were overscored e.g. the A/T deserved 30s not 29, what a breathtaking routine. Next week they'll have to up the game and work hard not that they haven't but I just don't trust the TPTB.

join the club . Almost at the end of the season, where will I get my Valdaya fix ? Im going to miss them lol .

That Jay guy seemed like a nice guy and Z really seems to like him, she is always and I mean always tweeting him ; The way they have painted him in that article is just wow, shame...
And we all know that Z's dad is overprotective but I wished that some people would stop assuming that z lives in some kind of prison. She loves her parents and maybe its for her own good that she remains grounded and continues to respect her parents.

Z is so tall and this is a bit of a disadvantage for the lifts so I wonder how this freestyle is going to go ?
I want them to re-do their jive but they danced it 3 times during the season . If not then it has to be the AT...please lol. Still pissed it didnt get a 30 , she had the best AT this season imo.

I think Val is still having issues with his back so lifts might be a problem. They need to get creative with "tricks" or cool moves that work for them (especially since she is so tall). If they straight dance for their freestyle that could be really good IF they have great music and really show what she is good at. But I agree they would need some kind of special move in there since we can be sure everyone else's will have lifts or tricks.

Was definitely my fav routine too & after all the worries about how it was going to go & be received it was huge relief that everyone, judges included seemed to love it.
I'm glad it full of fun & their character & how they are with each other i think thats what really made it stand out from rest dances - its how they light up the screen when having fun tog.
Even though QS wasnt great it did show that Val can be very creative with choreography & that combined with way he has made all dances age appropriate yet entertaining gives me a lot of hope for his freestyle this year.


OMG AH & OTRC interviews were so subdued from them, it was really worrying so Afterbuzz one was welcome relief to see the usual fun interaction that we grown to love from our fav pair.
Do wonder if Val was mulling over scores of the night & held back from being as forthright as he wanted to be, i just got that feeling, he was pretty bland with responses.



I think Zendaya has brought out the more chilled/fun side of Val that is always there but he has never had chance to show on DWTS apart from a little with Sherrie & even that partnership was plagued by how hot/sexy Val is & although i cant disagree with that when that is all everyone is focusing on it was probably easier to go with flow but he couldnt use that this time so we got to see more of what i believe is real Val & i hope he has gained lots new fans from his & Z's partnership.


Read that Freestyle is going to be even bigger with more props & other dancers, makes me think of showcase finale of Dancing on Ice but maybe this was just a rumour not fact.

Think act Val knows more about Z than she does him sums up the partnership, he wants her to shine so he needs to know her well & he puts himself second to her so its not important for her to learn about him.

I remember Edy10 mentioning Derek never being in SkyBox to congratulate Z after her dances since missed High-5 incident but is it just me reading too much into this weeks from 6.39, he greets Val & High-5's him twice but makes no contact with Z at all yet rest cast make effort to??

Re-watched Zen/Val dances from last night & that along with these pictures i'm definitely more in agreement with Lens comments about QS as you can see esp in pics some good moves/lines/hold & synchronicity so IMO deserved 27 not 25.
