Robson and Jerome sort of killed the Righteous Brothers Unchained Melody when they sang it back then. Some parts were too quick, while others were too slow. They weren't in time at all.
According to the press today, these guys are already professional singers and have been performing on cruise ships for the last year.

Typical. Nothing is ever what it seems on a Simon show. They are obviously part of the batch of 'invited singers' BGT tracks down every year to make up for the untalented nutters the show attracts

Que? No silly. Duh.
What I meant was that we, the audience, are led to believe that these are all young and aspiring people who are just praying for their big break, loitering in the shadows, unknown and undiscovered, etc,etc. But some of them are not.
Some have been flogging their skills for some years and just haven't quite made it. BGT tracks them down to dilute the crud that ARE unknown (for very good reasons) so that the whole show is not a total disaster.
