Frances Wood
Frances, this was beautiful! It really brought out a different side to your voice that I really loved and I think we should see more of. I hope that we get to see this side of you again because I really liked it. One of my favourites of tonight!

Ruth Lorenzo
Ruth, this was really a softer side to your voice but you're clearly capable of it. Taking inspiration from Christina Parie on UK vs US vs OZ I felt this song might suit your tone quite well and help to show off your vocals on ballads night. I think it did just that and I am very proud of you - well done!

Aleks Josh
Aleks, this was great! You put more effort into this performance and I think you pulled it off great. Glad to hear you sound like you are putting more raw emotion into your performances. I think this was one of your better performances in the competition so kudos to you! Good job!

George`s comment

Frances

I chose this song because i genuinely love it. It has so much personal meaning to me and I guess I just wanted to hear what your voice could do. Looking at other song choices, it may not have been the best choice, I will admit. But when all is said and done, you did your best and sang it so effortlessly and beautifully. Well done

Ruth
This was my highlight of the night. It was beautiful so a massive well done it was excellent and sung perfectly. I reckon GB will fall in love with you tonight and i think you may have earnt my top vote.

Aleks
I think the thing about a song like this is that it tells a story. But the singer needs to bring it to life and your amazing voice did well done

@Jack - Adam's song was a risk. But it was to try something different. Doing a power ballad this week would have been far too predictable. He has that brilliant upper register and it needed to be done.

And Toni needs to find something more current, otherwise I fear she'll lose herself amongst the crowd of cabaret singers.
It was good of you to take a risk but I personally wasn't sold on it and from what I've seen of him I didn't think it suited his generally rock-style performances. However, I'll look into some more of his stuff and find him showing his upper register. I think I missed some of his Voice stuff last year so I may be misinformed. And I agree with Toni, I just sometimes find it difficult to find something that doesn't sound repetitive so I tend to opt for older songs. But I'll go for something more up to date next week (if she's still here). And thanks very much for the standing ovation for Ruth

Pingu would it be possible to bring the results forward a bit? Just I won't be here from 9 onwards and I'll miss most of the results. Could we maybe say 8:15 instead?

Just going to do these quick:

DANYL

I really liked that performance. Would have loved you to hold the notes a bit longer especially toward the beginning, and when the performances picked up the pace, it got more enjoyable then. Good job.

HESHIMA

*Standing Ovation

Im applauding you tonight because you do freakin' deserve it. That was BEAST! That power on those big note were literally giving me the chills. WOW WOW WOW!

BO
Your weakest performance yet! That is a well known, rather big song and it was like you were singing it in the playground or something. It didn't feel like you were singing it to get to the next round on a talent show. It was all on the same level. a pretty low level to be honest. The major chords, you turned them minor, and it just didn't work for me. sorry

AMELIA
Hmm, what a nice pick. A good drift away from being a Kelly Clarkson clown, which I hoped you wouldn't become, but you were kinda herding that way. My only criticism is that I don't feel like Ive known you in this competition, you seem to be confused with style etc and I know that you just got a new mentor about 2 shows ago so there's still time to focus. But good luck tonight

SHAYNE
*I wouldn't quite rule out your other song yet cause we might mix it up in the near future. Eh Shayne, you are a good looking guy, singing a pop ballad, a cute lovesong, what could we expect really, from Roxie? Great performance. I thought that was close or probably your best. Well Done

ADAM
Talk about gambling? cause that was one gamble of a song choice there. Bit too soft from the usual you, we know and love. But I really liked the way the performance was mellow and calm. It sounded like it was a female singing it though, that can be seen as a bad move, but overall, I thought it was good

FRANCES
No baby nooooo... Song was way too big for you girl, especially towards the end. I'd advice your mentor to take another look at your audition, give you more of that pop/rnb with a flavor of rap. It's always risky when you tackle a Leona Lewis song babe, and I think after that, you are in massive trouble, but good luck

RUTH
Smooth beginning, smooth ending, lovely vocals, showed a different side to you. love you

TONI
That was a good performance and it suited you very well mostly at the powerful end of the scale. I slightly disagree with what someone has said, Half your performances have been current and recent songs, Its oly this week and last week you've gone for some older songs but yeah, just don't fall in the "overs" trap, you know what I mean?

ALEKS
Hey Aleks. You are the act I have most fun working with (now that Rylan has left ). We've been taking risk the past two shows and this them was just a good opportunity to remind your fans why and how they fell in love with you from the beginning.. and boy, we're just falling deeper and deeper and deeper in love with you, as the song says. A very emotive performance

Sure, your comments are taken on board Jack. I'll do something a bit more closer to home but a bit further from the typical rock performances. And much thanks for taking my opinion about Toni into account - and Kuda, yes she did do more current songs a few weeks ago, but yes I fear she's falling into the trap.

And I am absolutely doting on RUTH at the moment. Ruth + Evanescence = No words. My Immortal is really good for passionate rocky Ruth. Great work Jacka.

Oh dear...I am so worried. Please no shock evictions...I have a sneaky feeling that someone that I wouldn't expect will be in the bottom 2.

*holds my older men tight and winks at Shayne, reassuring him*
