First two? How have you managed that?

This has already been given a fourth series. Excellent news.
Well, you can get them via the usual methods or go to the sundance.tv website and watch the full episodes online. Up to you!

I'm hard of hearing and so haven't been able to watch yet because of the lack of subtitles. It doesn't usually take this long for them to appear on subtitle sites.

I'm on episode 4 of season 1, so no spoilers past that please, but I was wondering if people watch this thinking he is innocent or not? And if that makes a difference to how they watch the show?

Personally I'd like to think he is innocent as it is difficult to have sympathy for a character that is guilty.

But I think like most people I like the show for it characterisation and filmography.

I think the consensus is that people want to think he's innocent. Especially for such a heinous crime. There might well be a twist at the end, though. I think people would feel differently if it was shown from the word go that he was guilty.

Yes I thought that might be how people would see the show.

I like the way his sister looks out for him and the way she calls him 'Honey'.

Is there any chance whatsoever of this airing on TV over here? Has any station showed any kind of interest? There's a few people I know, my mother in particular, who would love this show but don't have the means to watch it. Which is a huge shame.

I think you'll find that people will root for him regardless of whatever he has done and does, simply because of the circumstances of how he has led his life up to this point. I feel that his punishment was far worst than being killed, oddly murder is a terrible crime, but the series evokes that side of people and make you sympathize. As the series progresses, you see how damaged and tortured he is, that killing him would have been a release from what a terrible world he lives in. Also through such an experience, it has made him into being unhinged, that you'll feel it wasn't his fault for all the things that he does too.

Season 3 finale was last night, I'm going to watch it over the weekend.

Thankfully it's already been renewed for a 4th season, an incredible show.

I didn't realise there were only 6 episodes this season. I'm just watching episode 5 at the moment and have 6 to watch afterwards.

It's one of those shows you don't want to end, yet you also want to know whether he is guilty or not.

The main draw for me, is the characters, they are all so good to watch.

I forgot to add that I think Amantha is great, I'd have loved to have had a sister like her, although it is a shame she smokes.

All the characters are so rounded. Even Teddy who could have turned out to be the usual moustache twirling villain. Looking forward to watching the season finale later.

Teddy's face when Tawney said she'd like to change the locks absolutely killed me. The acting on this show is something else.

I love it. Everything about it. I honestly can't find anything negative to say.

I just hope that it comes to British TV or, at the very least, Netflix.

It's coming to the UK in 2 weeks time. AMC UK have picked up the UK rights to Rectify. Season 1 premieres on Tue 1st September.

Sadly AMC UK channel is only available if you have BT TV. It isn't on the Sky platform.

Ahh, that's a shame.

Still, I'm glad it's making its way here, albeit in such a low key manner.

One of my brother's has BT. I must remember to get him and his family to watch it. Thanks for the info.

When the beach scene changed to Tawney and Daniel in prison, I thought for a moment that Daniel had drowned or something and so season 4 would have been about the aftermath of his death. Then it turned out to be Tawney's dream or a shared vision.

Turns out that AMC channel is coming to Sky. It's called "AMC from BT" channel 192 and starts broadcasting on the 28th of August.

I just checked my Sky EPG and you're right it's there on channel 192 called AMC from BT. There's a message showing saying the channel starts 28th August.

I didn't even think AMC UK would be available on Sky. So i'm wondering now if it will be included in my current Sky package or will it be a subscription channel?

I've just done a little research. It seems Sky customers will only get the channel if they subscribe to BT Sports.

God damn it!

I think the beauty of the show is you're never sure whether he did or didn't do it, not sure you even care if he did. You may come to find you like him for who he is now, that perhaps - even if he did do it - he'd done his time and paid for his crime, that he's not that boy anymore, or that he should have been fried Who knows, I think there are many different reactions to Daniel out there.

You learn, though, who he is now, this damaged, unique, individual and how his release affects the lives and relationships of all around him.

Give it time, though, you may form an opinion yourself and things to do with this crime do come out as time goes on, albeit slowly. It's a show full of atmosphere, but certainly doesn't run along. It's slow and steady, a 6 course meal rather than a big mac.

Keep with it and enjoy it. I've just finished Season 3 and still love it.

I saw the last episode when it came out so have caught up with the show.

I do care if he is innocent or not but that doesn't spoil what a great show it is. Very good characterisation and cinematography.
