I am glad about the result and i hope they evict Talla. That means Jillian has no chance in hell to win in the end.

Weirdly the feeds have come back. They've been told to strip the beds.
Gary doing his make-up. They're teasing us. |

He's certainly proven that the most flawless games are those with little drama or unpredictability. He's allowed barely any chance for himself to be voted out, which is not very exciting viewing, but I guess he's playing for the cheque rather than the cameras. |

Emmett would kind of be like a Hayden if (and surely when?) he wins. Everything he did was pretty flawless without ever being fancy. He wouldn't be in the least bit an exciting winner, but it would be a well-deserved win nonetheless.
I'm quite surprised though that he plans to evict Talla next though. She hasn't won squat all season, so I don't see why he'd be to worried about her winning a competition, let alone two parts of one. Plus, not only is Gary better in competitions than Talla, but he's also probably got more chance of winning if he makes it to the end than she does too... |

Dumb-Ox Emmett is a lifeless, whinging, cheating, coat-tail-riding moron.
If he were the girl and she were the boy the more people's perspectives on all this would be clear. |

I know I keep asking questions here - but you all have been great at helping me to understand the US/Canada version of BB.
Once the house gets to the final two HG, I gather the Jury house vote on the winner. I have read here about 'the Speech' - do each of them make a plea to the Jury? Does the person in 3rd place also get to vote in the jury? Are they at this time face to face with the jury members? just how much have those in Jury house seen of the daily plotting and game-playing in the BB house? Thank you to anyone who takes the time [ while all is hush hush ] to make things clearer. |

Correct, the houseguests from 9th to 3rd place form the jury.Quote:

Yes!Quote:

No, they are watching live on screen. But the jurors do get to ask the final two questions.. they usually get one question each.Quote:

Just the HoH comp, Veto comp and eviction. No plotting and strategising at all.Quote:

You're welcome!

Would love the UK version to incorporate some of the US/Canada ideas.
Many thanks for clearing that up. |

I also think HOH & POV would add something really good to our own Big Brother!
House nominates two (or more). POV- all participate, if the veto is used HOH names a replacement nominee. These three (or more) after the POV then go up for a vote to save public vote. The ideal format for me. |

They had a PoV in BB11, though it was named save and replace. They also made it so only the nominees could take part so it was guaranteed to be used, and also the nominee themselves chose the replacement. It's a shame Channel 5 dropped that.. it was always exciting on the feeds. It's also a shame they dropped the feeds.

I'll always love Save and Replace because it got rid of Nathan in Week 4. One of the rare times I supported something Caoimhe did.
