Do any landline providers install on a Saturday?
For various reasons, I have had two engineer visits at our new house missed by the engineer and they say they can only install on a weekday.
As it is really awkward to have any more weekdays off, I asked for a Saturday appointment. Apparently Openreach wont install on a Saturday. Is this just for my provider, or do any other companies have an agreement to have Openreach fit a landline on a weekday? |

Aye you would in this day and age. Maybe have to do without phone and broadband until half term or something.
We are in and out all day most days but tying in down to a whole am or pm is nearly impossible. |

I have a feeling it is some providers. Openreach engineers certainly work Saturdays, not overtime, on a rota so there will be engineers in your area working.
Maybe it costs more for a Saturday install so some providers don't do it. Could also be that Openreach only deal with faults on Saturdays and Sundays, not installs. |

That's your problem and not the installers. If tradesmen and delivery people have to chase up people who are in out all the time they would never get any work done and it would not be cost effective to run any business like that.
Three months now and still not on. We have been in when we have supposed to be every time but have now used all my holidays up. Nightmare. |
