I seen it years ago.It must have been early 90's as i remember my mum renting it out the video shop.Unfortunately my memories of the film are pretty vague.

I saw this too when I used to rent videos in the early 90's.

Pretty decent effort with Gary Busey as the creepy stranger trying to adopt a family by hiding himself in their loft.

Yeah, I saw it years ago. If I remember rightly, Gary Busey was the highlight.

It was a typical 1980s-era slow-burn thriller film with a couple of minor twists. Michael McKean tried to be Tom Berenger, but it didn't quite work because he looked too shady to pull it off. Mimi Rodgers was Mimi Rodgers. Same old, same old. It was Busey that made the film a little more interesting than it deserved. He had somehow made us a little sympathetic towards his quiet yet creepy character. Hm, I should watch this again.
