It seems to have 1080p so that is fine for a laptop you only really need more than 1080P if using a 30inch screen so it is really good.
I have seen quite a few laptops with Blu Ray yet are not 1080P.

People wonder why some of us are wary of trying Win8, but look at the reviews below this laptop. Ten reviews, in half of them the customers are not exactly singing the praises of the new OS.

I was looking at this laptop myself, a cheaper version with an inferior chip than the i7. Looks good value to me, but I'm no expert.

BTW I've also heard that Lenovo don't have a very good customer service record, is this true?

Anyone else dealt with them?

Yes, that's the one. But I think I saw it somewhere at 399..could be mistaken though.
The reviews are mixed, but most appear to think it represents value for money. I read that about Lenovo having poor after sales as well, not having had any experience with them I can't comment.
My needs are fairly basic, so I might still go for it. My desktop is on its last legs, so a larger screen laptop seems a reasonable idea. To be honest, my tablet is enough for 80% of my needs these days.
Best of luck with whatever you decide.
