BT phones keep going flat
We have a BT Freestyle 350 phone system with three cordless phones, they are about 6 years old and for a good few months now have had issues with each one of the handsets going flat quite quickly, however when we test the AAA batteries with a multimeter, they are quite often fully charged.
We have tried new (Duracell) batteries and even charged the batteries on a separate battery charger so they are fully charged but it makes no difference. If it was just one of the three phones acting like this then I'd have put it down to a faulty phone but all three going at one seems a bit too much of a coincidence. Can anyone advise? |

Replace the batteries in the phones. You MUST ensure that they are EXACTLY the same type as the original ones e.g.Ni-MH

A little bit late admittedly but my suggestion would be to dump BT phones. We've never had a decent one, especially when it comes to battery life.
We've got Panasonic ones now and they are much better. |
