Hey guys, just a quick thought.

I know everyone's opinion of epsiodes thus far is differing, but is it just me or have i seen more post ending with

"Next weeks looks better' (or similar sentiments) than i've ever seen before?

I'm don't really know what to think about next week, although I've got a feeling that it could be just a divisive as the last few episodes.

Speaking of which, shouldn't somebody be making a thread for it about now?

I loved last week's episode and I loved this week's episode. I don't if I'm going to like next week's more, but if I like it as much I'll be very satisfied.

They are popping up insanely early! But there are some teasers out which are best in a dedicated thread, but I'll post them here for now:

From Cultbox:

» Remember the "movie" Wild Wild West?

» Somewhere mentioned by The Ninth Doctor in Rose gets a mention, and Strax is wary of it.

» Matt Smith is channeling a role performed by Benedict Cumberbatch. No, not that one.

» 65 million years ago?

» The Doctor does a lot of kissing.

» Something that happens in ‘The Unicorn and the Wasp’ happens here.

» Fifth Doctor fans will be very happy. Twice.

» Something forbidden in a William Hartnell story is requested here.

» Did Strax just meet the inventor of the satnav?

» A familiar face or two from ‘The Bells of Saint John’ return.

» Clara is faced with an unexpected spot of blackmail.

» "She's only interested in the fittest and the most beautiful."

» "Join us in this shining city."

» "Casualties can be kept to as little as 80%."

» "I've pickled things in here that fair turn your hair snowy."

» "Names don't matter here. We only recruit the brightest and the best."

» "Clara's dead."

» "You killed me a long time ago."

» "Oh great, attack of the supermodels."

» "Have you been eating Miss Jenny's sherbet fancies again?"

» "I'm The Doctor and you're nuts.

They're going 'oop North'. Proof that the TARDIS really can travel through all of time and space.

As DW fan (and Northerner), I'm looking forward to it and hoping it will be good as I do with all DW episodes.

From what Cameron McKewen (Blogtor) said on Talking Who, next week's will get a similar reaction to this week's.

Plus it's a Gatiss ep, so probably going to be average at best.

anything with Diana Rigg should be good.

Well, hopefully it's not the Atonement one.

I dunno. It looks as if they've tried to compensate for something with the casting on this episode. Victorian Yorkshire?? I'm appalled enough that it's set on Earth again. And in the past. Again. Is it too much to ask to see future Earth once in a while? Since Christmas, we've seen Victorian, present day, 1980s and 1970s. What gives?

I am SERIOUSLY losing interest in it to be honest! I have faithfully watched since 1960's.....and was grateful for the 2005 revamp - loved all of that too! But this recent presentation of the show is absolute crap! Sorry - but this is my personal opinion! Matt Smith is very good in his version of The Doctor.....no bad comment there - although I HATE the constant constant constant use of that BLOODY screwdriver!!
I don't think it's going to get any better!
I'll stick it out and see......

Wasn't it just last week we saw the Earth from the beginning till its end? I don't think you can get much future than the end of it!

Eh. This is my least anticipated episode. I'm not too fond of Vastra, Jenny and Strax so I don't know what to expect with this.

Well, that's a copout, we only saw a bit of it. Most of the stories are set in the past and I don't see why, it's not the 60s anymore, they can afford to get creative.

If next weeks episode sucks, then it always will have the saving graces of Strax, Jenny and Vastra, along with the wonderful Diana Rigg. She is fantastic on Game of Thrones at the moment, so I can't wait to see her here!

So many people were salivating in anticipation of tonight's episode, and I suspect a lot of them were disappointed.
I hope that doesn't happen again, but yes next week's looks great from the trailer.

They should have had Gatiss make next week's a 2 parter (replacing Rings, not Cold War). I always think his episodes just get going then they have to end. He's used to writing longer stories.
