When I recieved a picture yesterday it was automatically sent to Vodafone Live! studio despite having a phone that sends and recieves picture messages, how do you get the picture messages to go to my phone rather than online???

You need to call Vodafone and get them to set it up for you. The picture messages should then go to your phone.

I had same prob with my 02 mobile the two photos I got sent went to the 02 website and 02 text me with in 12 hours of them being sent to goto the website and type in my pin to look at the photos and they only stay there for 30 days. Why did the two photos not go to my Sony Ericsson T230 thats a clip on camara phone.

Well on my T-Mobile PAYG sim (but in a contract phone...long story), i was sent a picture message, which cane through to me as a text saying visit the website. So then to test if i could send picture messages, i set one up and send it to my email address, it got there fine. T-Mobile then sent me a 'welcome' picture message, very weird indeed .

All these problems stem from not activating MMS.

On T-Mobile and Virgin you do this by sending a MMS. On the other networks you need to call them to activate picture messaging.

So, when you sent that picture message, Rhys, you activated MMS and will be able to receive them from now on.

Darren, you need to call O2 to get activated, it can take up to 24hours.

Aaahh right, thanks very much

Sorry to hijack this thread again, but does anyone know how to activate MMS on Tesco Mobile? My friend whos not very good with technology to say the least wants to send a picture to me, and she hasnt got infra red, bluetooth etc. Is it just a case of phoning customer services up?

Cheers,
Rhys
