I just finished reading "The Dalek Generation" book, there are three kids in that one, and it is a charming, upsetting and all over brilliant story, would love to see it made into an episode. Kids can work in Who with the right storyline.

Just noticed another comment about the little boys dance in the almost people, Have you not met kids? my grandson does that dance whenever I show him something Dr Who related its a very accurate portrayal by that young actor.

I believe that pretty much everything in that post about the dancing little kid was sarcasm.

Um...how do you know this is the best episode of Series 7? It hasn't aired yet.
This is what worries me. Just because Gaiman is writing this episode, people have incredibly high expectations for it meaning they are more likely to be disappointed if it doesn't quite live up to the standard of The Doctor's Wife even if it's still a decent story.

Cause' they need a Daphne and Fred. Oh and K-9 obviously.

I can't stand children in stories to be honest. I started reading that book but gave up because the children were annoying.

But that's what children are Fez, and believe it or not we were all children once, I know I was annoying were you? I could start the old children are our future bit but I think you will probably see where i'm coming from lol

You have nothing to worry about. Nightmare In Silver is easily the best New Series story to feature the Cybermen.

You may think kids don't work, but we can assure you they do in this episode.

I know what you mean, the hype for this episode is sky high. If it turns out to be a total flop, by the credits I will probably be laughing. I think silence will fall on this forum should that happen

But I am looking forward to it. None of the new cybermen stories stand out, they've all been weak and to me they're starting to feel overused, especially after Closing Time. Hopefully this will give the cybermen a bit of redemption!

There is one thing that I can guarantee. If the episode is awful then there is no way that silence will fall on this forum!

Its going to have to be a cross between Empire strikes Back, Blade Runner and 2001 to make some people put their knives away the way things are at the moment!

From Last Cyberman to Nightmare in Silver to Nightmare in Silver Rant.

Big fan of Neverwhere and The Doctor's Wife so hopefully even children won't spoil it.

Well after that short 5 minutes with them i'm convinced i was right they are annoying

To be fair, he approved it as showrunner.

They're okay, tiny bit precocious but that seems to be a common malaise with children on television though.
