Good evening and welcome to the first installment of BGT BOYS AND GIRLS VS X FACTOR BOYS AND GIRLS!

Tonight, we will see your final 16 perform but it is a battle of the categories as 2 from EACH category will go. However, the category with the best votes overall will only lose 1 act, there will be no bottom 2, no chance to sing again so it is all about tonight!

Voting lines will open when the last act has performed! Also along with tonights show, there is an opening for a new judge to take over the BGT girls category, keep your applications coming and the new judge will be announced in the interval between live show & results!

Ryan – Good song choice. It really suited your voice but maybe go for something a bit more risky next time. But well done!

Stacey you are one of my favourite x-factor contestants ever, but that didn`t suit you at all. If your mentor had found a cover of the song then maybe it would have been better but it didn`t suit your voice at all. Sorry, I think you`re in trouble!!!

Hey there Stacey, I thought that it was a great song choice and that it suited your low range in your voice, however I felt that it covered the low range a bit too much. So the one thing I would suggest is having songs that favors your mid-to-high range notes where you seem to do very well. Something that I am sure you'll be able to do. For now though, I think you're safe tonight.

Alice, you and the other girls may not have a mentor right now but I can definitely see why you got this song. I will agree with Pingu here and say that it was a little predictable because this style you have is to be expected. So I hope that if you're back here, try to take risks because they can do wonders.

Some may say it was predictable but its only the first show, and I have plenty of things up my sleeve for Jamie in the future. Your vocals were amazing, and you perform brilliantly. Tony I watched some of your performances back, and that song didn`t suit you at all. It was very pop and fast while you are more of a soulful singer. I can`t see you getting through tonight Tony after that performance, and that is a shame. Good luck though!!!
