in my memory, there was a villain that the 4th doctor encountered (i think) who was basically covered in a hair like substance (a bit like cousin It in the addams family). Would love to know what it was called so I can look up some pictures.

It might have had one eye as well.

any thoughts?

The only alien with one eye I remember is that 'Hermaphrodite' alien on Peladon....but that was Jon Pertwee's era. And he/she wasn't hairy!
