What was it?

Ok, i'm probably just being really stupid but what was the object that kind of floated down ( like a piece of paper?) at the very end of the episode? It looked like a piece of paper fell down on to the control panel as the doctor walked up to it?

It was the duster that the Doctor had been using the clean the console with. I liked it, it reminded me of the fifth Doctor, giving the new console a clean when they redesigned the set for the Five Doctors

I saw it too and didn't know if it was "important" or a f*ck up

Did I imagine it or did the Doctor flick Clara on the bum with the duster when he passed behind her?

Nope, he most definitely did

Maybe it's Matt trying to get in about Jenna? Seems like a cheeky thing he would do. Whether it was an onset thing or in character, wouldn't blame Matt/Eleven - Jenna is really pretty

Here's the weird thing...not so long ago I would of probably got pointlessly annoyed at 'such improprieties' from the Doctor towards his compistant, but I thought it was quite funny! It almost looked like Matt did it totally off the cuff and Jenna wasn't expecting it! (From what I remember as watched)

It could be an important duster, what if it is the other half of something important?

Smith tends to add things as he goes.

Hell, Darvill didn't even know he was going to get kissed until after it happen in "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship".

The Doctor flicked Clara with the duster, as it may be a special duster, has that caused a time continuum involving Clara.

He definitely duster-flicked Clara on her bum crack!

Would it not be fitting if it turned out to be a bum crack in time?! OK, no - probably not. Ahem.

*waits for a thread to be started about the doctor being a bad role model for being violent towards a companion even though the sixth doctor tried to strangle his*

Well I didn't want to release the Sexual Harassment Panda, but know its roaming...

Well so called 'Moff at', if I did that at work to an unsuspecting female colleague I would be sacked, but you give 'Smith' (huh!) a new role in your latest Hollywood blockbuster and time off in June to film it! No wonder Eccleston ran for the hills if that's they way he was treated by John Barrowman. Just get a gripe of your actors before Mary Whitehouse has Doctor Who shelved.

I will accept the actual duster used as compensation for the disgust I feel. Pleas do not wash it when you send it please.

I found the whole duster/bum thing hilarious and definitely something that would happen in the workplace (case in point, the kitchen staff in a pub I used to work in would flick each other and us waiters with towels all the time).

Yeah mate, this isn't the 1970's you know. Standards have changed...if 'he who must be called 'Moff At'' hasn't learnt anything from the stuff that has recently been uncovered at the BBC following the Jimmy Crankie scandal and operation Yewtube, then he deserves everything he gets!!!

Oh no, not more 'Crack' in time jokes. .

Spoiler
The Doctor Soniced Amy's crack. That sort of thing.

Yes, it watched it again and there's nothing special about it, it just wasn't immediately obvious.
