1. The Eleventh Hour: A truly awesome episode to introduce a new Doctor, companion and era of the show in general. The eventual 12th Doctor intro episode has a massive job to follow this.
2. Impossible Astronaught/ Day of the Moon: Love everything about these episodes. They twist and turn, look amazing, start a really good arc; hell I don't half feel like the 11th Doctor era peaked here (hoping upcoming episodes will prove me wrong!)
3. The Doctor's Wife: Sublime. Enough said.
4. Pandorica Opens/Big Bang: Yes, the plot has more holes than a siv, but I still think this is a superb ending to a brilliant arc for series 5.
5. A Good Man Goes to War: The 11th Doctor kicked ass in this episode. One of the rare times when we really see how dangerous he can be.
6. The Wedding of River Song: I thought that the whole way he avoided his death was really clever in all honesty.
7. Amy's Choice: Brilliant character development.
8. The Angel two parter: To say this was Matt's first filmed episode, you really wouldn't think it. Very enjoyable.
9. Asylum of the Daleks: I thought they could have done more with the idea, but it is still an enjoyable episode. And it was a nice surprise seeing Clara.
10. The Angels Take Manhattan: Again, the plot holes let this one down, but it is still enjoyable enough and a nice end for Amy and Rory.
11. The Bells of Saint John: Alas, only one episode from the new run. Lot of promise in this episode not yet built on, but I'm hopeful for the upcoming 3, plus the anniversary.
In all, though, I love Matt Smith.
